Don't let it stop you from being who you can be. Exhaustion tells you when you ought to stop. You only reach your limit when you can go no further.

  • I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. (Albert Einstein)
  • Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. (Apple Inc.)
  • 'Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink.' - 'Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it.' (Exchange between Lady Astor and Winston Churchill)

    Mark Twain:
  • Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
  • If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
  • Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

  • In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it.
  • Anybody can sympathise with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathise with a friend's success.
  • The aim of life is self-development. To realize one's nature perfectly - that is what each of us is here for.

  • When it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm already better than them.
  • I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves. They didn't bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn't argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn't.
  • It's often just enough to be with someone. I don't need to touch them. Not even talk. A feeling passes between you both. You're not alone.
  • I used to think as I looked out on the Hollywood night — there must be thousands of girls sitting alone like me, dreaming of becoming a movie star. But I'm not going to worry about them. I'm dreaming the hardest.
  • If I play a stupid girl and ask a stupid question, I've got to follow it through, what am I supposed to do, look intelligent?
