This is the Hundred-and-thirty-sixth week of using the "Perfect Anime Girl Sheet". Notice: This Blog may contain Unmarked Spoilers.

Welcome back to exploring my psyche everyone. Last week we explored where my love of meganekkos (likely) came from, and this week we explore a side of me I don't show very much. You see, this week I'll show my loli-

Not doing anime girls for a month! That's impossible. Wait, no. I have an idea.

VIDEO GAME GIRL MONTH!

: WHAT? NO! I meant the blogs in general, not just anime girls!

Too late for that now, I've already given you a literal wish!

: UU! How dare you mock my words. You will rue this day! *storms off*

Huh, I mean I said it would be video game girl month, but it seems that I don't have many to blog about. I'd better check my other side... You have any Topaz?

: Any what? I didn't eat any cake...

You had cake, didn't you.

: If I did, it certainly was soft and tasty... I mean no...

But putting the cake aside, do you happen to have any video game girls?

: Why yes I do! I was thinking that this July would be like last, so I've prepared a Touhou girl already.

Great! Fireworks always puts me in the Danmaku mood. So who's the lucky girl?



(Note: I may be using fanon/personal opinions about Touhou characters)

Head
Hair: Youmu has short silvery-white hair (mostly white, though). Note that in the fighting games, the palate for her hair may change to different colors (including black!), but I'm not taking that as canon. She has a very delightful straight cut as well, giving her a very cute look. Her sides are longer, about as long as the rest of her hair, which barely reaches her shoulders (at the longest point). It's mostly very neat, but is messy in the latest game (13) which I dislike. I like her having almost helmet-like hair, it's adorable! She also wears a black headband with a black bow as her required headgear and it looks so cute.
Grade: B

Eyes: As I've said multiple times, the images from the actual Touhou games aren't spectacular (with the exceptions being the fighting games, especially Scarlet Weather where she's really lovely). Youmu herself does look quite good, though, with blueish green eyes (a truly lovely color). Again, the latest game has them turn silver, which I'm not a fan of (not that I dislike silver eyes, but her eye color was perfect before).
Grade: B-

Face: She's somewhat meh, but she is pretty expressive (usually, as she is pretty emotionless as well). She's cute but not gorgeous.
Grade: B

Body
Build: Youmu is small and thin, but couldn't be confused with being "loli" all that much (though as we'll see later, that's not the only thing that could make you confused). She's about average, it seems. Not too shapely, but about right for a teenage girl.

I should also mention that she's half ghost (to be precise, half "phantom", but still...). How that works is left a mystery that hasn't been fully explain (I assume that she didn't take the full class levels for ghost xD). Because of this, she has a floating ghost hanging around her. Or maybe SHE'S the ghost part and the "ghost" is actually Youmu! We don't know for sure, but the consensus is that the girl part is Youmu and the "ghost" is called Myon (due to a word she said in one of the games).

...I still think that thing looks like a sperm.

Breasts: *this part has been chopped away by what seems to be two swords...
Grade: D

Clothes: Youmu has a surprisingly good outfit. It has a schoolgirl flavor, with the green jacket and skirt over a white blouse. She even has a bowtie/ribbon near her collar! She also has approximately knee-high socks, and cute black shoes. Overall, very cute, especially when you take what fan art puts her it (school swimsuits are common. Because you know, she has the figure for it).

She carries around two swords. The longer blade, called Roukanken (Lookout-Tower Sword), is said to be able to kill ten ghosts in one swipe, while the shorter blade which is called Hakurouken (White Tower Sword), is able to cleave through a person's own confusion. I don't understand the confusion part, but both seem absurdly sharp ("The things that cannot be cut by my Roukanken, forged by youkai, are next to none!").
Grade: A-

Mind
Personality: Youmu is an honor blade, meaning that she's a serious swordswoman who upholds honor and justice. She may be a bit quick to attack Youkai, but is generally nice to humans (if a bit tacturn). She is defensive to Yuyuko, her boss and friend, and acts as a guardian to her. And also gardener. And, knowing how much Yuyuko eats, she probably has to cook a lot (Yuyuko is based off of "Hungry Ghost" legends). She's serious, but occasionally has moments of naivety. She's very straight forward and focused as well. Her near-emotionless serious manner and general cuteness makes her one of my favorite Touhou characters. She's also terrified of things that are scary like, ironically enough, ghost stories (her master is a ghost, and is half ghost herself). Being not good with scary stuff is really cute.

She has an unknown sword style. It's given that she's learned it from her father Youki (or could be grandfather? silly translations), but other than that not much is known. Besides, you know, how effective it is. In a bullet hell game, she's quite unique as in some games she's able to cut bullets away and/or deflect them. In addition, in those games she treats Myon as an option, being able to shoot in multiple directions. It's quite useful if you get used to it. I like using Youmu, but I'm nowhere near expert level (I can barely beat "easy" modes). In the fighting games she's also effective, having a pretty much "I win" button spell card (she becomes 3 people using her super speed). Speaking of her speed, how fast is she? Well, one of her spell cards is entitled "Two Hundred Yojana in One Slash.", and being that a "Yojana"is about 6 to 15 km, the spell card implies that Youmu can travel 1200 to 3000 km in the 2 frames (out of 60 f/sec) or so it takes to make a single slash. In one comic, that's explored and it is found that she moves at 93% the speed of light. And speed isn't really her power...
Grade: A-

Libido: None is really shown. She does have a master/servant relation with Yuyuko, but it's not that way. At least, in-universe....
Grade: C+

Age: Her age is unknown. She seems to be teenage, but as a half-ghost she could be older than she looks. The only evidence is that she seems younger than sixty (which may be obvious, after all).
Grade: B-

Average score: 7.7
Final Grade: B

Overall, I do like Youmu, and she's useful in games as well. Touhou in general reminds me of another series of games I enjoy playing (but, like Touhou, am pretty bad at). Wait... That same series has a bunch of girls as well! I should talk about some of them this month!
