Anime Relations: Clannad, Clannad: After Story
at the time i was writing this, i was feeling normal, but deep down, i feel sad

not too long ago, i just finished, what i believe, is to be one of the best anime series i've ever watched.

Clannad: After Story

(SPOILERS?)
Clannad is known for its tearjerking moments. this didn't happen to me until i watched After Story. though i recognized the tearjerking moments in the first season, i couldn't bring myself to set off the waterworks. however, i really enjoyed, and i understood what the characters were experiencing.
moving on to After Story...
god, did i experience something extraordinary. due to my simple-mindedness, i saw posts concerning After Story that Nagisa

i tried watching the rest of the series pretending that i didnt know that, but my memory was very selective and when it finally happened, i couldnt bring myself to do it. though i did feel very, how do you say, heartstruck(?) and it was pretty hard.
two episodes later, it finally happened. out of nowhere, the waterworks just started bursting and it was so surreal. i couldnt believe that i just did that, and it felt rather

good

yea, it felt good to cry to something you're watching when you're well connected with the characters and understand the circumstances they're going through. truthfully, i'd go back in time, watch that episode and cry to it again cuz it was just so damn touching. after that, i put the series off for a day because i felt like i needed to. plus winter 11 shows were on so yea :P
then 3 episodes later, happened again. but i think i kinda forced it since i felt like i had to, but it still felt good to let out all your emotions out.

so yep, that's twice i've legitimately cried to an anime, and it was the first anime to make me do so as well.

with that said, i believe Clannad is a wonderful series to dive into and im lucky to have found it because it more so (?) changed my life in some way

You simply gotta watch the ef series. Sure it's not as good as Clannad, but it's still a great drama anime and one of the only two animes that almost made me break into tears (the other one being Clannad AS).
