Christmas and is it really the end of 2010 already?
Hello everyone! How was everyone's Christmas? To be honest Christmas didn't feel the same this year as it has before, but I can't quite narrow down why. I got to see a bunch of family that I don't see regularly though so that was really enjoyable. We also got to have a White Christmas this year too which was pretty exciting (until the roads iced up). As a matter of fact it was the first time my part of Georgia has had any measureable snowfall on Christmas day since 1882! I tried to get some good pictures for those interested; I still need to set up an account somewhere though to host them. I'll be sure to make a blog entry when I get around to that and hopefully they aren't too bad. lol
It's hard to believe that this year has gone by so fast and I've had some memorable moments this year (with hopes of many more beyond that next year). Finding out that I needed to have surgery, rediscovering my interest in anime, finding Danny Choo's website (which spurred so much more interest in Japan and has been a massive inspiration in general), deciding I wanted to learn Japanese and staying up all night to begin learning it (I need to find that determination again), recoverng from surgery, attending my first anime convention (Anime Weekend Atlanta), getting back into college.. So many memories of this year that I want to build upon so I can reach my goals....
I hope if you're reading this you find the inspiration to reach for your dreams and that we all hold on to our determination to overcome the obstacles on our paths. Happy New Year!
