Iron Man: Rise of Technovore
Decent movie. The story and presentation could have used some work but the concept and the action were top notch. Not a fan of Iron Man but he was more tolerable than usual here. The super spy satellite they made was a rather spectacularly bad idea on so many levels but that’s one of my main problem with Tony: He helps the state create more ways of controlling people and spreading destruction even though he thinks he’s helping humanity. He’s actually doing more damage than when he was an arms manufacturer right now. Oh well, the next movie is with the Punisher, whose way more badass and, ironically, reasoned than Iron Man is.

Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher
Great movie honestly. Punisher is one of the best hero of the Marvel Universe: He helps people, has a conscience and isn’t afraid to kill. People can complain about his method, but he never deals with the same villain twice. Black Widow is a sexy, class A fighter and a spy; her style works well with the Punisher and her being one of Marvel’s best female heroine helps make this the best offering of Madhouse’s Marvel thus far. Movie was action packed, had a strong story, fascinating villains and decent thematic focus. Definitely hope Madhouse makes more though it seems unlikely.

Love Live! Season 1 (1 – 7)
Pretty decent and sweet series in the same vein as K-On! The songs are good, the characters are interesting and you have to hand it to them, they really know what’s cute. It’s not anything mind-blowing, but I think it’s worth the watch.

Love Live! Season 1 (8 – 13)
Decent ending. I’m not sure there’s much to say, I get why this series is popular but, while I enjoyed it, it’s definitely not all that. There was less of an emphasis on songs than I would have imagined and the ending was appropriate but kinda by the numbers.
