I just figured that MAL let's you have your own blog besides its many features. So I wanted to give it a try and post something but I couldn't come up with a creative idea to what to post, so I'm doing an artist appreciation like one of my friend does.



I know that this person is not involved in anime industry nor has a page on people category. So it might look absurd to make such a post, but MAL lets you make posts even if they are not related to any anime or manga. Plus, I would like to inform you about this indie babe, Caroline Polachek. (not sure if you've heard before. If you've heard go listen one of her fave songs below)


I discovered Caroline Palochek thanks to Grooveshark. (btw rip grooveshark) I clicked random button and came across one of Chairlift song called Amanaemonesia. The song which got me with its weird vocals.

Anyways few days ago discovered that Chairlift, the group she used to sing with, is not the place where she only sang. So I searched a little on net and found another gems <3




Besides her career with Chairlift she also has a solo project which called "Ramona Lisa" where she shows her more formal and feminine side. (I guess this project of hers went nowhere at least I assume because no recent records from her as Ramona Lisa.)




She also has lots of songs with other artists which I like.




I just like her, because each atmosphere and ambient she made with her songs feels unique. The waves she make with her voice sounds pretty poetic to me. She has a strong voice and I do really think that her voice is actually a part of nature.
