Example #306: Blog of the Living Dead
This is the Three-hundredth-sixth week of using the "Perfect Anime Girl Sheet". Notice: This Blog may contain Unmarked Spoilers.
Welcome back everyone. Last week we received a call to adventure! We were teleported here by a powerful demon's magic and are now forced to go up the stairs of her fortress.
: Because Topaz can't think of a better way to get the plot into gear.
Hush on that! Also, as you can tell I've invited my assistants to join me. Ririchiyo would be here, but we lost her last week.
: Don't say such ominous things! While she did stay in the last room it was only because we met up with her friend Karuta and they're spending time together.
I was trying to build drama, but that is true. Anyway, we're about to face the second guardian. At least, that's what the demon lord called it.
???: Kuhahaha, do I hear my name being uttered by mortals? But indeed, I have named them my "guardians", for they, uh, guard me!
: Be careful not to strain too hard coming up with names.
???: Don't mock me, puny humans! Why don't you just continue through the door and go to the next guardian!
*Topaz opens the door and walks in, revealing a large room with a bath.*
This doesn't look too bad!
???: Kuhahaha! I see that your feeble minds can't comprehend what lays under the bathwater!
: I sure hope it's not a drain monster. That would be gross...
???: No, your next challenge shall be the...
*A black-haired figure starts to emerge from the water.*
???: The Soapy Guardian of Water!
*A beautiful girl wearing a button-down shirt and striped panties emerges from the water.*
: H-hello...
This doesn't seem challenging at all!
: Hmmm, something doesn't seem quite right about her...
: I may not have a lot of attack power, but my mistress told me your weakness!
Oh? What's that? I hope it's not eye damage.

*The Soapy Guardian pulls out a loofa from the behind her back. She then slips it between her exposed cleavage and squeezes tightly a few times, nearly making Topaz nosebleed in arousal. She gets out of the bath and walks towards him as well.*
IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
: Don't be played by such silly tricks, Topaz!

: Hmmm, so this isn't good enough. Or did I get the wrong blogger? Luckily my mistress told me the weakness of YOU as well!
*She then sets the sponge on the ground and pulls her panties down low enough so her full cheeks are exposed. She then begins to slide her butt against the sponge while being very embarrassed. And Embareassed too.*
: S-so? Is this working?
*No response is heard from Topaz as he nosebleeds. However the Soapy Guardian's eyes glow red from seeing the blood and she attempts to attack Topaz. Kimiko luckily holds her back in time.*
: I knew I recognized her from somewhere! This is Rea Sanka, a zombie girl!
That's where I've seen her before! But since she's in a blood-crazed frenzy at the moment I'm sure we can start the blog...
: Because even when under attack from a zombie Topaz thinks about cute girls...
Head
Hair: Rea has really pretty hair. It's black and waist long, not covering her butt. She also has pretty straight bangs, nearly looking like a hime cut though her left side is put behind her ear.To be fair she often wears a blue or purple flower on this side of her head (though it may be a hair clip).The other side also doesn't go all the way to her chin, but past her cheek. She also has two long parts from her back that reach in front, occasionally giving her cover hair if the situation calls for it. She's also been seen wearing a hat or a floral crown (or whatever that ring is called). Overall it's a great hair style and I really admire it. She does have a few different hair styles, one of which being twin tails in a piece of official art, but I much prefer her ordinary style as it looks great on her.
Grade: A
Eyes: Her eyes were originally blue, but when she turns into a zombie Rea's eyes become red. While watching the show I was disappointed in this, but now I'm a bit more accepting of the combination. It helps that it's a dark red, of course. Wait... Hopefully her eyes aren't red because her pupils are transparent, thus making us see the blood vessels in her eyes. I doubt that's the reason, but it would be terrible for me if that was the case. It would explain why the manga version isn't exactly great for my tastes (the lack of pupils is a bit unsettling). Color aside she does have very nice eyes. They're positively adorable, being a tarame though a somewhat reserved style. She does have an image where they're narrowed and look really excellent, though. In general Rea's eyes are really gentle yet elegant, and I do like them.
Grade: B-
Face: Rea has a very cute and simple face. Thanks to Hattori Mitsuru doing the manga, she doesn't even always have a nose (it's a bit more reliable than Umisho) but I don't mind. Her pale skin also works amazingly well, making her seem more like a classic Japanese beauty than most. Her eyes also go well with her face, being really pretty altogether. She has a lovely smile as well, though I'm surprised that she can still blush. Her cheeks are nicely shaped, though her chin is somewhat pointed (though it works, I suppose). She also has really cute facial expressions.
Grade: A-

To be fair Rea isn't exactly a normal zombie. Fortunately this includes the fact that you won't become one from her bites.

*People pass by a television store. There are various programs, but they're all halted for a special report. A familiar looking newsraven is on the scene.*
Aya: This just in! A giant magical structure has appeared above the town! The mecha force has been sent in to investigate!
*The video shows various mecha units flying towards a giant spherical base. As the ships investigate, small black goblin-like creatures float out and start to attack. The ships shoot at the creatures, making them explode in magical energy.*
???: You certainly got them, Agent C! *she say to a person riding with her.*
???: Of course, they shouldn't underestimate the Scarlet Twins!
*They continue to battle as we move to the next group, consisting of an Aquarion and another unfamiliar mecha.*
???: Hey, shouldn't you be at another blog right now?
???: Wehaha! Like one blog is big enough for ME! Besides, the stories are separate. Unless there's overlapping, but that leads to terrible things.
???: Speaking of terrible things, WATCH OUT!
*The busty meganekko pilot barely has time to warn Agent K as she gets overwhelmed. She's able to last a long time but eventually her machine starts to spin to the ground.*
???: Agent M! We've better make a strategic retreat!
???: But, Agent K...
???: I'm sure we'll see her again, but not if we fall here!
*The ships leave, firing at the goblin-like creatures as they do so. Luckily the creatures aren't able to stray too far from the structure.*
Body
Build: Rea doesn't have many measurements. The only one I could find was that she was 161 cm, but as that's only on MAL I'm not sure how true it is. She does have a fairly nice body type, being somewhat curvy but not extreme on either side. She's slender and has shapely hips. Speaking of which, the broadcast version censored her butt but in the DVDs it's exposed, showing off her lovely rear. Her legs and arms are nice as well, and in the anime it seems that Rea often goes barefoot. Even before the zombification she had pale skin, but it becomes whiter afterward.
Being a zombie is a turn-off for me, but Rea is different. I will admit that I didn't know about her way back when I mocked the idea of a zombie blog. There ARE problems though; for example Rea is the type of zombie that decays and even undergoes rigor mortis early on. She needs to be preserved or will rot. Luckily she doesn't feel any pain from this, though in general she doesn't feel pain. As her limiter is also turned off she also seems to have super strength, but she can't heal wounds. As a result she still has a rather large scar from when she died from being impaled on a rock. It extends from her left hip to about to the bottom of her right ribs. The bad news is that, in the manga, we first see her (from the back) with her guts hanging out. I'm not too big on morbid things like that, and it hurts her "body" score.
Grade: B
: Man, I bet not a lot of girls have a scar like hers! Imagine doing two girls like that in a single month!
Don't be ridiculous, that's as silly as talking about two dead tall, dark bishoujos!
Breasts: She has SOME chest, it's not too big and she's smaller than Wanko (the lead Chihiro's cousin) but its there. Rea does look a bit bustier in the anime, though I blame DEEN for that. She's "average", I'd say and it fits a girl of her size and age. One added tease for me is that, in the bath, she does put a sponge between her breasts for a pseudo-paizuri tease.
Grade: B+
Clothes: Rea is usually seen wearing her school uniform, but has many other clothes. Her uniform consists of a button-up white sailor top with a blue/purple collar, a (sadly pleated) skirt the same color as the collar, a blue bow tie with gold decorations, and socks that are about knee-high or a bit higher. Other outfits include a maid outfit, a nurse, a cheerleader, a bunny costume, a pink frilly bikini, and finally just wearing a towel. Overall it's not too bad, I don't mind the bow tie and most of the other outfits look good on her (though they don't show them off too much).
Grade: B

: Don't worry, I'm certain we can save her. Though I do wonder why her ship was so much bigger than she is...
Mind
Personality: We first get a hint of Rea's personality in her normal form. She's the type of girl whose kind to everyone and is treated as the school idol both for her looks and personality. She's a rich girl, but the sweet kind who isn't a bully. However, her home is a very dark place. She's extremely sheltered in her rich family and kept from "fun" things. Her overprotective father even fired a maid for getting to close to his daughter. Said father is a psychopath in general though, being a perfectionist to the point of raising his daughter to be like her mother, who he found beautiful but died. He even takes birthday photographs of her, and while that doesn't sound odd she's wearing her birthday suit at these times AND he's been doing this all her life. In general she's lucky to have found Chihiro to pull her out of that life. She's finally able to experience freedom at that time.
However, as said before Rea is a zombie girl. This does force her to be with Chihiro as he's the one that made the zombie potion and the only one who is able to maintain a zombie's body, but I don't mind as their relationship is cute. It's fun to see Rea experience things that she hadn't been able to, such as going to the mall and such. Eventually they get to a point where she blushes just by seeing him, though it's probably not for the reason you're thinking. She also has to eat the leaves of the hydrangea plant to retain her mind, the leaves being a notable ingredient of the potion.
Maaya Uchida does Rea's voice. It's a really soft yet pleasant sort, with a gentle voice. I'd say it fits Rea very well.
Grade: B
Libido: It does seem that Rea and Chihiro do get together, maybe, which is nice as they're a good couple. I'm not exactly sure as the anime didn't go that far. However, we ARE able to Rea's "lust hunger". Basically as she rots she begins to confuse "affection", "lust", and "hunger" leading to Rea occasionally trying to eat Chihiro. She also attacked his cousin Ranko and started licking her chest for some reason. Fortunately, when Chihiro admits his love it breaks Rea out of her trance. She does lose a bit of score as she considers eating Chihiro to be "romantic" and I don't have that fetish. I don't have any problems with her love bites though.
Grade: B-
Age: Technically Rea is 15 years old. She's also this old in the series too, unlike say other undead (like Vampires) who could be a lot older. It is a bit off putting to say that she's dead as well, even if it does give her pseudo-eternal (if limited) life. I'd still prefer vampires as my undead of choice, though.
