I finished reading Usagi Drop. I really really liked the first part, although the second part did drag a little, and the ending felt rushed.

I really wish Daikichi hooked up with Kouki's mom. She seemed like a really good match and all the sexual tension between them seemed to be pushing towards that ship, so I was a bit disappointed when I heard she was going to remarry to someone else. At the very least I expected them to begin cohabiting after Kouki and Rin became grown ups.

Also I found Rin liking Daikichi to be highly unrealistic, due to the Westermarck effect, and grandpa not being the real dad a big asspull.

I respect the author's bravery in making an unconventional ending, and I appreciate that there are always problems when writing, but I just feel the second half had bad writing, and wasn't as well planned because maybe it was thought up along the way.
