Meme’s hair is dark blue, one of my favorite hair colors. Her hair is also nicely long, and while her bangs aren’t all that great she has a nice pair of ahoge. In a memorable episode her and her daughter also had twintails for no reason other than Meme felt like it, but dammit, it was adorable!
Grade: A
Eyes
Purple eyes are one of my favorite colors, and they work great with dark blue hair like the one Meme has! I also like the way eyes look in this series, which is an extra. Sadly she never wears glasses even though it’d suit her, well, suit!

No, sadly I decided to retire that running gag by now. I don’t want to be like some authors who don’t know when a joke got stale.

Meme looks overall pretty decent. Sadly she lacks official measurements despite all other three main girls AND the lead guy all having heights, but she doesn’t look very tall and she has not bad legs as well. There’s a problem however, and that is her magical bust size. See, SHAFT isn’t exactly the richest of studios, though at least they don’t draw nothing but derpfaces like some either. Sadly, that means their characters can end inconsistent sometimes, and Meme suffers from that on her chest. Sometimes she’s quite busty and sometimes not so much. In fact there are two different official images of the entire female cast in a swimsuit, and while in one she’s completely flat in the other she’s a cow. What the hell, dude, pick a size and stick to it!

There’s a decent selection here, but nothing special. Predictably Meme doesn’t wear any of the costumes I like, but she does wear a rather tight suit, cute pink and red pajamas with tight bottoms, a baseball suit which is tight, and overall she seems to like clothing tight on her butt, which is her best asset in this field. Otherwise official art doesn’t add much, though interestingly she wears two different swimsuits in two different images, though the lack of a “canon” swimsuit in-series might be the reason. Overall Meme is alright but nothing impressive.

Personality
Meme is very childish, like I said in the blog intro. That’s a double-edged sword, and while she can be very funny, like when she got into the fridge to keep herself young, she also has rather selfish moments, most notably regarding her daughter. See, since Erio is a very “special” young woman and likes to be alone wrapped in a futon Meme just kind of lets her be and doesn’t really pay her much attention. While I sorta see her point, come on, you’re her mother, put some interest in your daughter and help her with her problems! She does have her nice side as well, like taking care of the woman she works for, and can be much smarter than she seems. Overall Meme’s not too bad even if she has flaws, but do note I still like her even if I sound a bit harsh.

This section is gonna be a bit different this month, I bet. Anyway Meme is actually not married and has no plans to do so, so she’s a single mother taking care of her daughter. However it’s very clear she liked Elliot, her daughter’s father, very much and more than anyone else, which is good. There’s also how she likes to tease her nephew and main guy. Sadly he doesn’t appreciate it as he keeps a tally of “youth points” and good stuff like dating the other girls gives points, but everything Meme does takes them away. Fine, she’s his aunt so I can see why he’s bothered, but still.
Grade: C+
Age
This is going to be a bit of a recurring theme this month, so get used to it. Anyway, Meme is understandably older than my usual tastes, being 39 and becoming 40 during the series. Or 39+1 according to her. It’s not EXTREMELY old and she looks fine for her age, but still I’d prefer younger girls. Sorry.
