Head

Hair
First, I’d like to say I really like the colors used for hair in this series, and not just for reminding me of Heartcatch. Now Paradox here has a rather nice shade of azure blue, kinda reminding of the original Gemini Saint; while I like other shades better she doesn’t look bad. I do prefer her “hate” side tho, as she has DARK hair, a very dark shade of purple that almost looks like black at first. It even goes with her eye color better! The hairstyle herself isn’t bad either, she has long hair on a “top” ponytail and looks really wild and sexy. I prefer her hair down from flashbacks, however.
Grade: B+

Eyes
Light purple is a unusual but still very nice eye color, and it looks good on Paradox as it goes well with both her hair colors! More so the dark purple, but light blue is also a nice match. Interestingly, her “love” side has tareme while the “hate” one has tsurime instead, befitting both of them perfectly.

Body

Build
No measurements as always, but we can tell Paradox has a nice physique, nothing exaggerated but nothing impressive either. She seems a bit tall, but that might just be she’s most seen with a young boy. Her only flaw is her rather noticeable large breasts. Right, that was more the show going “LOOK, HERE’S A FEMALE GOLD SAINT, THE VERY FIRST IN THE FRANCHISE ASIDE FROM THIS ONE STORY IN A GAME, SHE’S NOT A GIRLY-LOOKING MAN LIKE PISCES APHRODITE, WHO IS A DUDE DESPITE THE NAME, BUT A REAL WOMAN” but big breasts are still bad. Being a show for children they don’t really show them off, but still!
Grade: B-

Butt
Not shown. Instead they showed man-ass. Bastards.

Clothes
There aren’t many to rank, unfortunately. The most notable is obviously her Gemini Cloth; despite the name that’s the armor she’s wearing. I dunno why they call it a cloth either, blame Japan. It actually looks like the one Gemini Saga from the original series wore, or didn’t when he used it as a scarecrow in the House of Gemini, but it’s been changed to look more feminine. I don’t mean the spot for breasts, I mean like the tiara Paradox is wearing and such. It does look a bit nicer now, but nothing exciting. Same with her “trainee” clothes and stuff we see in flashbacks. I’m not being too harsh on her because she’s not expected to wear much more and she appears very little, but still.
Grade: C

Mind

Personality
As a child she was able to see the future but nobody took her seriously. When her parents were about to die Dragon Shiryuu saved them, and this is when she developed her yandere crush for him. She became a Saint to be with him, but alas, he married his childhood friend Chunli Shunrei instead, something that hurt Paradox hard. That’s around the time she rejected her true name and became Paradox instead, eventually becoming the Gold Saint of Gemini and joining with the Martians. As you have seen she has two sides, the sweet and devoted “Love” Paradox and the furious and sadistic “Hate” Paradox. You don’t see many girls with split personality, and she’s a pretty good one in that field, as I enjoy both of her personalities a lot. Finally, her attacks are based on space/time screwing just like you expect from a Gemini Saint, though she learned Shiryuu’s Rozan Shouryuuha or Soaring Lushan Dragon; unlike when he uses it on the original manga, it’s rather effective.
Grade: A-

Libido
Absolutely devoted yandere with a “sweet” loving side and a “sadistic” hating side, sounds like an easy win! Though she loses points for transferring her feelings for Shiryuu to feelings for his SON, why did you invite a Greek tragedy to dinner.
Grade: A-

Officially unknown, but due to plot reasons she should be over 20 at the youngest, which is kind of high for my standards. Shame…

Voice
Yukana is a versatile VA that I like, and she does a great job at flipping between “sweet loving older girl” and “crazy nuts sadistic girl” when required, so I like.
Grade: A-
