This is the Hundred-and-ninety-fourth week of using the "Perfect Anime Girl Sheet". Notice: This Blog may contain Unmarked Spoilers.

Welcome back everyone. For those that don't know it, last week we're having difficulty with time manipulation with Quattro returning and holding up the entire month time-wise. We're currently on our way with Homura to find out what she's up to.

: You are horrible at explaining things, Topaz.

Well then, why don't YOU explain things?

: It's YOUR blog after all. Why should I have to fill in plot holes.

: Topaz, stop that. We have much more important things to do today!

Like your blog!

: *sigh* Yes, like my blog. Now, will you be a good bystander and stay behind? Rika and I will defeat the robots that Quattro is sending at us.

But Quattro is-

*As soon as Topaz opens his mouth, robots similar to Quattro's previous design appear. Homura easily destroys them with a rocket launcher pulled from her shield.*

: What were you saying?

...I'll get to that blog...

Today's girl is:

Homura Akemi
from
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica

Head
Hair: Homura has wonderful hair. It's long and black (grey at times, but that's probably due to light) as well as being mostly flowing but straight at the same time. I think that it was called "silky" by the creator, which looks true. her hair goes to about her waist, which is pretty perfect. She also has a ribbon on her forehead, though it doesn't take away her bangs fortunately. Overall her hair is wonderful, but she also has a second haircut. During a "certain episode" she also has twin braids. I'm not usually one for braids, but as they symbolize her "innocence" as well as looking great with something I'll mention in the next area.
Grade: A

Eyes: Homura has very nice blue eyes. They also have a nice slope most of the time which I like. Her eye coloring itself is a bit scratchy, but that's just the art style and most of the other girls are like that. She does tend to look down on others, but that's understandable considering all the things that happened.
And, for those that know the show and were waiting for it, yes. Homura WORE GLASSES! And they were so CUTE! They're similar to the U-shaped type that girls like Nodoka in K-on! wore. They're cute red frames, and work really well with her braids. Sadly, she had to lose them when she gained resolve. I can understand that, and if we had seen her with glasses first I would be sad but since we had seen her from the beginning without glasses it's a nice treat. Like finding out a girl needs reading glasses or something.
Grade: A-

Face: Homura has a very plain face. Nothing wrong with it, but she's not outstanding from a subjective standpoint. However, I still find her very adorable. She's not emotional during most of the series, but I love that time and love her face despite her not looking condescending at times. Maybe it's just me, but I love the simple cuteness and cute Hidamari-type artstyle. She also has small features (her nose is barely a triangle)!
Grade: A-

Beware: Adorable image incoming (those with weak hearts shouldn't click this):

Body
Build: Unfortunately, Homura's body isn't great for my tastes. She might have an "alright" body if you like girls her age, but she's not "mature" enough for me. That said, she does have a nice slender body. She's about 159 cm. She's somewhat "pear" shaped as well, her lower half is much larger than her bust. Her butt sadly is not large as well. Her best feature? Legs. This is not up for discussion. Any magical girl in pantyhose DEMANDS wonderful legs and Homura is no different. Unfortunately she also tends to not show her body, which is sad. Another "sad" thing is during one of the battles Homura gets her foot trapped and smashed under some rocks. Not as sad as most of the things in Madoka, but you know what I mean.
Grade: B-

Breasts: What part of Homura being "slender" makes you think that this area would do well? I suppose that she might be slender all over, but no; Homura is slender here too. Unfortunate for her score, I suppose.
Grade: C

Clothes: Homura usually wears her school uniform or her magical girl outfit. Her school uniform consists of a yellow over-shirt over a white shirt, a plaid miniskirt, and a big red bow tie, like the other two girls I've done. As said previously, she wears pantyhose and looks really nice in it. What I should concentrate on is her magical girl outfit. It's got dark shades and looks really nice. It's somewhat sailor-suit or school uniform-like, which I tend to agree is a nice motif with magical girl outfits. Not to mention I really like the color scheme. She also wears a metal shield on her left arm, which hand also contains her soul gem. Finally she wears high heels, and while I don't normally like them they seem to be part of her pantyhose in magical girl form.
As far as other outfits, Homura doesn't have many outstanding ones in-series. In official art it's another story. She's worn a yukata, an archer's outfit and three bikinis (one rainbow, one purple and black-strapless, and the other pink and flowery). She does wear a school swimsuit (or at least a similar blue one piece) in one image which is OUTSTANDING though, she's certainly got the body type for that. She also has a purple and white sort of one piece (it buttons in the middle) that I'm not particularly fond of.
Grade: A

Mind
Personality: When we first meet Homura, she's introduced as a "mysterious transfer student" in Madoka's class. Though she's meeting her for the first time, Homura knew a lot about Madoka. She's the silent but beautiful type, and a definite kuudere, only really warming up for Madoka. Speaking of Madoka, she seemed to have something against her becoming a magical girl for some reason.
However, her stoicism makes sense come the later episodes. In episode 10 we see how she's lived up to this point in not only this, but many many other time lines. You see, Homura has gone through the weeks numerous times correcting her mistakes. She tries so hard, but continually fails and has to reset the time. This is enough to break most people, and Homura is definitely a girl that has a hard time going through life. In fact, way back in the beginning she was a shy and quiet girl in glasses and wielding a golf club. Now; she has military-grade explosives and does her job easily and leaves aloof. This is a good way to show how badass a character is, not just through what they do, but also show how much they've changed.
Homura's ability is twofold, technically. Her main power is the ability to stop time with her shield. Once the sand in her shield is used up though, she has to go back in time to refresh it. She retains all memories in this process, both good and very sad. Her second power is that she has a hyperspace arsenal in her shield as well, capable of holding a nearly-unlimited amount of items. She uses these abilities to steal weaponry from the military and yakuza. In the epilogue, Homura starts using a bow like another character.

: Hey, don't forget about me!
That is true. Homura does have a lot in common with Hitagi. They're both long haired girls with powers over item storage. They even share a VA: Chiwa Saito. Their VA does a wonderful job of portraying both of them, and I wonder if I would have liked Hitagi more if I had seen her first. Not that I dislike Hitagi (overall).
Grade: A+

Libido: Homura homu homus Madoka's panties and wears them on her head as well as freezing time to bother her...sexually.
No, not really. Though that's how the fandom tends to portray her, I have to be honest with her character. As much as I find that portrayal humorous. That sad, Homura DOES really care about Madoka. She went through all the time loops just to find one where Madoka survives. It's really subtle how they go through it (well, excluding the part where they are in the heavens and embracing nude) so I commend them for not going too far.
Grade: B

Age: Homura is only 14 years old and goes to middle school. However, depending on how many weeks she's repeated (we see a few, but not all of them) she may be much older mentally. She scores a bit higher than most teens because of that fact.
Grade: C+

Total Grades: 80
Average score: 8.9
Final Grade: B+

*Topaz finishes his blog while the others are clearing a path to Quattro's now aerial fortress as it looms overhead. However, a familiar figure is in the middle of the panicking crowds...*

: Finally, we've made it to you Madoka!

: Oh! Homura! What are you doing out here!

We're trying to stop Quattro!

: Well, I suppose that I can help. I made a contract, Homura!

: Oh no. I was afraid of this! WE'RE TOO LATE!

I don't see Kyubey anywhere though! Unless...

: That's right, Topaz!
*Quattro's voice appears over the loudspeaker*

: While you were out blogging it took me just that much time to forge a contract with little cute Madoka here.

: YOU ****** (a passing vehicle honks it's horn at that time)

HOMURA! Language!

: I just said "Witch"...

Oh, I though that you said something else.

: You flatter me, Homura. Calling me by something that's nearly defeated you numerous times. But I suppose that your "plan" to use a goddess to take me down failed whahaha! Now you're faced with TWO goddesses, and that pathetic time girl would never hurt your sweet Madoka, now would she!

: Homu...ra... Help me... I didn't..... want....

: I understand Madoka. You were charmed into accepting this. Don't worry. Topaz, do you think that you can help Madoka while I try to change this time manipulation.

Of course. Quattro has time manipulation as well so you're her best opponent. I'll try to return Madoka to normal.

*Homura leaps off buildings, slowly able to get into Quattro's fortress.*

: T....k.... you....
