Poland trip 2 day 4: 5-7-2012
Anime Relations: Pokemon
Alright then, today was just another nice day :DDDDDD
Since my dude's parents both had to work, I was already at the station at 7.
So I waited for 3,5 hours for Koen to arrive.
What I did in the mean time was reading my book :)
We then just chilled a bit and went in some shops to cool down when Jorik got there too.
Since we stilll had to wait for Casper we headed into lidl's where Jorik bought himself something to drink and where I earlier on bought myself some chewing gum, tictacs and a twix.
After Casper had finally gotten there I ordered 4 tickets to Katowice and we took off.
After having travelled for only 20 minutes the train all of a sudden stopped on the railway.
We Waited a few minutes and then continued again.
But only 5 minutes later we stood still in the station.
Only this time it took a lot longer.
I asked the conductor what was wrong but he spoke so quick that I phoned my Polish friend so that he could help me translate.
So he did, and he told me we had a delay of one hour (!) because a train somewhere further along our railway had crashed.
In the end we arrived an hour later as planned in Katowice, bought ourselves a map and took off.
We had lunch at a very nice kebab place and all had doner rolls :DDDD
We then just checked out the city, walked around a bit, checked out a church and then took off to the northern part of Katowice to this huge shopping mall called Silesia.
When we got there we felt so relieved because of the airconditioning inside the shopping mall and so just sat back and relax.
We headed to KFC for some nice refilling drinks and just talked and relaxed more :P
I stayed with Casper and had a good talk with him, he then took off with Koen and Jorik and I stayed to call to my grandparents on skype who where leaving on a holiday tomorrow.
I then waited quite a while for them and we decided to go home and have dinner with our hosts.
At the station we ran in to an Australian who apparently had Polish parents.
So we had a good talk, he translated the thing I couldn't understand and we had our train tickets.
But the lady behind the information desk gave us wrong info because our train had already left the station before we even bought our tickets!
So we ran back got ourselves some new info, and it was wrong again!!!
But apparently what they do in Poland, they don't replace the time of a train that has a delay so the original tiime stays on the board!
So we got ourselves at 20:36 a train that should've been there at 19:32.
Then we finally took off to Myskow and arrived safely.
When I got there some people I got to meet through the exchange were waiting for me.
I went with them, had a good talk and we drank some beer togethere :)
They were suprised about my improved Polish :DDDDDDDDD
Then they asked who is your teached and I told them: Sebastian ( My exchange friend )
All along the night was great :DDDDDDDD
I really enjoyed this day :D
