Anime Relations: Chitose Get You!!
I was going through the Anime list for Summer 2012 and I found an Anime with the most charming summary I've ever seen. The Anime is called Chitose Get You!!

Chitose is an 11-year-old girl who is madly in love with an older guy named Hiroshi. He works at the town hall right next to the school and Chitose spends every day relentlessly pursuing him. Can Chitose ever convince Hiroshi to go out with her?

Warning bells went off in my head when I first read this summary. Why wouldn't it when the summary reeks of lolicon? Now, I did go and check the forum thread for this Anime and there were a few people who've read the original source and they say that the eleven year old's crush is one-sided, which means the Anime is going to be simply a cute slice of life.

The summary though... well, I have looked at the forum thread. It's definitely drawing in the lolicon crowd along with people who are jumping to conclusions just from the summary. And no, I don't have much respect for the lolicon crowd. I've known way to many people who were sexually abused as children.

This isn't to say I'm against stories that don't glorify the relationship or stories that have historical context as to why there is such a relationship going on. I don't have a problem with making little girls kuwaii because there is nothing wrong with talking about how adorable a tyke is.

What I have a problem with people saying pedophilia is all right. There is a reason it is considered a mental disorder.

I hate to be that guy, but this is a quote from your profile.

"Some people see only a certain view point, like certain pairings, or they have certain biased based on what they like, or don't like."

You seem to be generalizing these fans quite a bit by saying they are suggesting pedophilia is alright, don't you think?
