Anime Relations: Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, Kuroshitsuji, Perfect Day
ALRIGHT! I'm back people!

And this time, not just with the new Kuroshitsuji chapter, but with some anime reviews too!

Okay first, as always, let's start with the new Kuroshitsuji chapter, chapter 70!

Woot to Yana Toboso-sensei for reaching 70 chapters!
I liked chapter 70 a lot, although it was short. ;o

Now! On to those other anime!

First, I'm going to talk about an anime music video. It's an animated music video for the song Perfect Day by supercell.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the song and the video.
The song is very sweet and heartfelt and a little sad. The singer has a beautiful voice.

It animation in this video is BREATHTAKING. You should definently watch it!

Okay now, on to the second anime.

I know almost anyone who's into anime probably has at least heard of, if not watched Code Geass.

For those of you who haven't watched it, you should.

I got the complete first season on DVD during this past holiday season, and recently finished it. I started on season 2 a few days ago.

I am addicted to it. Really.

Summary:

On August 10th of the year 2010 the Holy Empire of Britannia began a campaign of conquest, its sights set on Japan. Operations were completed in one month thanks to Britannia's deployment of new mobile humanoid armor vehicles dubbed Knightmare Frames. Japan's rights and identity were stripped away, the once proud nation now referred to as Area 11. Its citizens, Elevens, are forced to scratch out a living while the Britannian aristocracy lives comfortably within their settlements. Pockets of resistance appear throughout Area 11, working towards independence for Japan.

Lelouch, an exiled Imperial Prince of Britannia posing as a student, finds himself in the heart of the ongoing conflict for the island nation. Through a chance meeting with a mysterious girl named C.C., Lelouch gains his Geass, the power of the king. Now endowed with absolute dominance over any person, Lelouch may finally realize his goal of bringing down Britannia from within!

It has a lot to offer for fans of all kinds.

It has lots of action: fistfights, gunfights, machine-fights, psychos with chainsaws...

Yes. Psychos with chainsaws.

It has mecha for your mecha fans (like me), but not so much that it makes you think, 'Oh this is just Gundam.'
It's not mecha centered, but still pretty damn awesome.

It has your romance, for sure. Lots of love triangles going on.

Not to mention drama, as there is a lot of family conflict and scandals.

It's also a bit comedic.

And of course, it has your ecchi. And girls, before this turns you off, it doesn't just have ecchi for the boys. It has ecchi for use girls too.

Seriously girls, look at Suzaku Kururugi's butt when he's wearing his tight, white g-suit. XD

There's a whole page dedicated to his butt here:

I loved Johnny Yong Bosch as Lelouch Lamperouge (I'm a fan of Johnny Yong Bosch :D) and Yuri Lowenthal was great as Suzaku Kururugi.

I highly recommend it, but I don't want to say too much, since that would spoil the fun.

Be sure to check it out!

That's all for today, peoples! Thanks for coming! ;)
