Yes, yes. I've shed tears while watching animated entertainment which recounts utterly fictional events that never actually transpired in the real world...
But they were manly tears!
... No they weren't.
Listed below are the Anime and Manga that have made me lactate from my eyes.
Fullmetal Alchemist
So・Ra・No・ Wo・To
Episode 7 is ten times more depressing if you imagine those things happening to Miyuki Takara. Or it's ten times less depressing, if you're a prick.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion
"I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die..."
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Top wo Nerae!
Okay, technically it was during the credits of Top wo Nerae! 2, but it was because of the original.
Anime and Manga that have made me teary-eyed are listed below.
Azumanga Daioh
Shut up.
Monster
The ending. Just- The ending.
Gode Geass R2
Island
Pale Cacoon

I don't know why, but I posses a sort of fondness for sub-standard Anime. Maybe it's the fact that the first few Anime I watched without someone telling me to do so were all these type of shows.
Regardless of the reason, these are shows I will re-watch repeatedly- Sometimes even more than shows I've rated fairly high. Like Trigun.
I hate you, Trigun.
Kuroshitsuji
What I rated it: 5-6
How much I liked it: 7-8
Lolz, this show is so weird. I probably like it so much because of Grell. He's just so delightfully homosexual.
Innocent Venus
What I rated it: 7
How much I liked it: 7
I'm not sure if this should be on the list, but I don't care.
This was a DEEPLY flawed series (In a, "Lol, what is this?" sort of way}: from it's infuriating supporting cast full of pirates, mentally deficient blond children who attempt to devour live frogs, and women who can't shoot a guy at point-blank range to it's shoddy CGI, and inconsistent animation to it's simple lack of a compelling story, aside from the character of Jin. (If Jin were a woman, he would be my waifu. Sorry, Yoko Kurama.)
But, well, Jin is why I like it. The English voice-acting in the last few episodes made me silently squee with joy.
Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z
What I rated it: 5-7
How much I liked it: 6
I'll admit it: I loved the Powerpuff Girls when I was a kid. It was one of the few decent American programs playing when I was younger.
(For it's first few seasons. The last few seasons did not happen. They do not exist.)
So, when I heard it was getting an Anime adaption, my reaction was, "lol, wut?" and I proceeded to watch three or four episodes. After being thoroughly, what's the word? Oh, right, "disturbed beyond human comprehension", I watched about twelve more, before I gradually lost interest, and dropped it.
One day I'll finish it, then I'll never speak about it again.
