The neverending quest for a perfect desktop
Since I've been known to change my desktop setup every week or two, I've decided to start cataloguing them here as a way to remember the
design and setup, as well as possibly give a few others some ideas on what to do with their desktops. I'm OCD and a huge perfectionist when it comes to what
wallpapers, addons, themes and what-not I use, so feel free to ask for advice.
Since I'm scatterbrained and just had this idea recently, I'm going to start with my earliest, readily accessible desktop; anything I used pre-2012 is lost
somewhere within millions of imgur links. I'm aware the quality on the first two images is utter shit, but all the others I plan on uploading from here on
out will look better. I apologize! (Note; all pictures will be spoilered since they're huge resolution and most are about 1mb in filesize: right click them
and click view image for best possible results.)

I really liked this desktop and I used it for a long time; Vita is adorable, the clock is simple and minimal and the Windows 7 theme looks great. I'm not
-too- keen on the icons I use on my taskbar...

Changed my background; still riding the high of the Hayate x Vita pairing and besides, all desktops could use a bit more yuri. Still didn't change my
taskbar icons. I wonder when I'll do that...

Azusa is SMOKIN' and I totally dig this wallpaper (even if i did a -really- shitty job photoshopping it). I've never used an RSS feed nor image rotator
addon before, but having glorious rotating images of IDORUS on my desktop is a gift from god. The clock is also amazing; the font is gorgeous and the colour
fits so well. This might be my favourite I've had in a long time.

"boy i sure love this wallpaper of azusa blah blah ill never change it - UNTIL VALENTINE'S DAY. On that day I discovered true love, so I adjusted my
desktop around that. Also featuring power-level hiding Hidamari background.

I think I'm finally onto something here. I shot for a non-animu related background with an autumn theme (since for some reason I felt like having a
desktop centered around autumn...) and a picture of my beautiful waifu right in the middle (in a picture viewer, of course). Hidden taskbar makes my life so
much easier because I don't have OCD fits about my stupid icons. I'm not a huge fan of the clock since simplesentence is overused like crazy, but for some
reason it just clicks with this desktop.

rain rain rain, minimalist setups and a new anathema album. listening to weather systems has reminded me how much i love rainy weather. the clock adds
some much needed pizzaz to an otherwise rather busy background that lacks a focal point. i managed to go quite awhile without changing my desktop so lets see
if this one lasts, too...

I HAVE BECOME INFATUATED WITH MONSTER GIRLS. this desktop is...well, its super simplistic. but if you havent gathered by now that that's what im known
for...well, in any rate, i hope it doesnt disappoint.
