Just picked up this beautifully made figurine in Singapore today. Lucky it only rain in the early afternoon so i went to the shop played several games of Weiβ Schwarz with the shopkeeper and 1 other player and its around 6:30pm and the weather is all clear! ^^
So i pay for the figurine and quickly left before the crowd becomes horrible at the custom for taking the bus. Everything went smoothly till i was halted at the Malaysia custom by an officer who told me that toys(which believes she believes it is...) are taxable items and asked for the Figurine price and tried to check if there is a price tag or receipt on it. Well it has none of it and and lied about the price for the Figurine telling her i bought it at around SG$70.(Actual Price is SG$234) >.>
Than she told me that it will be taxed 30% so it will be 50rm. O.o;;;
After awhile she says she will lower the tax for me a bit to 30rm. (Well i'm quite skeptical at this point but paid it anyway since i don't want to get held up at the custom for so long and I'm kinda tired from taking all the bus and MRT rides and wanted to get home fast to rest.)
I have yet to open the package but here is a picture that is being used in the official site. Its 1 of the few well made figurines out there that actually caught my attention so overall I'm very happy about it even though it is very expensive. ^^
