[Touhou] Musou Kakyou 2nd Episode in Production?
It's been awhile since Maikaze published the first episode of its hit Touhou donjin anime, Musou Kakyou ~A Summer Day's Dream~. Not much new information has been made available since, and there have been rumours that Zun might not have been happy with the anime, and that continuation of Musou Kakyou could be in doubt.
At the end of last month (October), Maikaze posted a news update with an image of Sanae on its website and stated that the studio had applied to participate in the 7th Hakurei Shrine Reitaisai, which is scheduled to take place on March 14, 2010. The image can be seen below.
The header at the top of image says: "Musou Kakyou second episode is being produced? ... Probably." Combine this with the fact that the reissued regular edition of the first episode's DVD can be bought in stores again, my personal guess is that either the aforementioned rumours weren't true, or that Maikaze has managed to reach an agreement/understanding with Zun's Team Shanghai Alice. Either way, Touhou fans around the world should be very happy and excited to know that Musou Kakyou is likely not dead in water. I know that I am :D
