shina_luna's Rating Table:
Anime: Titles that make it into my collection have to have at least 6.5/10 rating.
Manga: Titles that make it permanently to my collection have to have at least 7/10 rating. Titles between 6-7/10 usually come and go again, unless their are out of print or somehow otherwise troublesome to get again.
The scale of measuring things is usually decided by the amount of boredom v.s. exitement felt while watching/reading, the strength of its aftertaste upon completion and at how much I'd like to revisit the title again.

10 "Masterpiece": Perfectly to my taste, despite having some possible minor drawbacks (to me), but has plenty of awesomeness to make up for that. The Olymp that can be rewatched/reread any time again without loosing its charm, but make anything else loose its charm. Watching anything here will definitely make watching anything else feel very bland for weeks and months to come.
9 "Great": Very much to my taste; either a "Very Good" with a big fangirling bonus or a "Masterpiece" that lacks it or a "Masterpiece" with some bigger than just minor drawbacks at some part of the series.
8 "Very Good", quite memorable watch/read, definitely to be looked at again. Here starts priority purchase list.
7 "Good": Has been either partially a very good for a good number of aspects, but rather plain otherwise or consistently good, but lacks something to make me hype it. Stuff very likely to be revisited and enjoyed again.
7 (6.5 uprated): Not really classified as consistently good or to have that great a number of exiting aspects, but enough to have some lasting effect in my memory with some rewatch value.
6 (6.5 downrated): It was a nice, solid, memorable watch/read, but not so much my taste or nothing really that special, so not really eager nor in a hurry to add it to my physical collection, despite it being really not bad. This is basically my bargain purchase list.
6 "Fine" It has it's moments and I have to remember them. The title had something interesting, memorable, exiting or a generally good execution to offer, but while enjoyable while watching, I don't feel compelled to revisit it anytime soon. Limited rewatch value starts here.
5.5: "Kinda fine... I think": There was a small set of memorable stuff, which didn't show up consistently, but for which I wish there is a good AMV/MMV to compile those parts. Uprounding or downrounding depends on the amount of how much was memorable.
5 "Average" as in average enjoyment. This tier is the most huge pot in my list and consists of these subsets: 1. Nothing noteworthy inside, will have forgotten about it soon, but I did not feel stirred enough to think either good or bad of it. 2. Memorable in it's basic idea, but dull and lacking something in it's presentation 3. negligible base idea, but decent in it's presentation. 4. Started pretty prospective and remained decent for a good while, but went downhill at some point, but not enough to warrant hate. 5. Things which aren't outright bad to the point of me hating it, but falling short of what they could have been.
4 "Bad", forgettable stuff that was bad and/or boring, no matter how I look at it with my taste, although I don't feel outright put off while watching, because it didn't even make me bother to actually think about it much. The oblivion pot.
3 "Very bad", very memorable, but not in the way it should be: in some way promising, but a freaking damn major devastating disappointment resulting in a sore "Whyyyyyy?" Painful adaption fails and sudden downhill races mostly fall into this. Other things include things that are strong in leaving an impression, but I can't help but feel disgusted.
2 "Horrible", Horrible stuff, waste of time, hopefully quickly to be passed into oblivion, although I may have my doubts on some, that this will actually happen.
1 "Unwatchable" & "Unreadable" - Such trash, I feel my life being utterly wasted on it. No I think, I'm going braindead over it. No, I don't even want to think anymore. No, just erase it from existence, please.

Turned around a lot of ratings scatter around landmarks. If I feel like things are at the same level of those, they will fall designated scores as well. If I watched the things before the landmarks the comparison goes to whether I felt as bad or good when watching them back then.
1 "Unwatchable" and "Unreadable": It is as appalling, disgusting and insulting as "To Love-Ru".
2 "Horrible": It is about as appalling and disgusting as "Pupa".
3 "Very bad": 1. The total wastefulness of either premise, setting, characterization, preferred elements, great visuals, great soundtrack or usage of the original material on whatever it turned out to be make the title feel literally painful. (Anime: Nabari no Ou, Pandora Hearts, Guilty Crown, Mai Otome, Kanon; Manga: Ao Haru Ride) 2. It's actually pretty crafty and cool to look at, but I can't shake off this utter feeling of disgust for it. (Umibe no Onnanoko, Grisaia no Kaijitsu)
4 "Bad": Bad to the point that I simply don't care at all. (Anime: The Asterisk Wars). Bad and totally unimpressive to the point I simply will just discard it from my memory. Sometimes even while watching.
5 "Average": 1. The perfect show to run while I clean and tidy up my desk and shelves (Doraemon), 2. Pretty decent to actually very good for what it is or trying, but while i can respect it, I am just bored and frowning over it (Chihiro, Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki, One Punch Man), 3. I really rant over it, but it's not bad enough to actually hate it completely (Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen (just the Anime)), Zetsuen no Tempest, Kobato) 4. It wasn't really bad, I just won't really remember much or anything of the title pretty soon (Kimi to Boku)
5.5: "Kinda fine... I think" I won't ever rewatch it, but bits of it looked really cool (Mirai Nikki, So Ra No Wo To), compilations or anthologies of which only little parts were cool (Ani*Kuri15). Usually downrounded to 5.
6 "Fine": It was a nice read/watch, there is some likelihood, I may take a look at it again, should it fall into my hands again by a bargain or some other coincidence. But otherwise not planning to revisit it again. (GTO, Beck, Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä, most Taniguchi Jirou titles, Dantalia no Shoka, Dream Saga)
6.5: I had some trouble to decide if this should go to either 6/10 or 7/10. Those titles usually get revisited again to make a more definite choice. (Manga: Angel Sanctuary, Ayashi no Ceres, anime: Le Portrait de la Petite Cossette)
7 "Good": 1. It convinced me despite having a lot of what I usually don't like at all (White Album 2, No Game No Life, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, C³, Ore Monogatari) 2. It's simply enjoyable enough even for a second time, despite obvious shortcomings (Aldnoah.Zero, Nagi no Asukara, Kamisama no Memochou) 3. It's really pretty good, but somehow doesn't really resonate that immensely much with me (Chihayafuru, Dennou Coil, Gunslinger Girl, Lone Wolf and Cub). 4. A really nice unsuspected surprise (Merry Bad End, Coelacanth, Rec ~Kanojo ga naita hi) 5. It's just solid good, nothing more, nothing less (Planetes, Paradise Kiss)
8 "Very Good": 1. It's really very good, I enjoy it very much, but personally I just can't really hype it (Pluto, Monster, Fruits Basket). 2. It's really not great or has some major shortcomings, but I can't help but be impressed and like it very much (Kamisama no Inai Nichyoubi, Please Save my Earth, Charlotte). 3. I have regular "Oh my gosh how great!" moments, but overall, there are also these other eyerolly "Oh srsly" moments to drag them down (Gintama, Skip Beat Manga). 4. It's good, just possibly not that special, but it has some element favoritism bonus, like badass rabbits. (Black Bullet Manga). 5. It really is quite good and has some nostalgia and personal attachment boost to it (Ashita no Nadja Anime, Fullmetal Alchemist 03).
9 "Great": 1. There are some possibly sore shortcomings at some part, but the rest is just so very much overwhelming (Gankutsuou, Zankyou no Terror). 2. It's really great and totally impressive, but it just doesn't compare to my favorite masterpieces (Madoka Magica Movie 3: Rebellion, Ooku, Flower of Life) 3. It's kind of weird. I don't really enjoy the time while sitting before it all that much, but just love the aftertaste it leaves (Mushishi, Rahxephon, Ghost Hound). 3. Strong boost due to certain elements I love, despite some stronger drawbacks (Chevalier d'Eon, Pale Cocoon, Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, Nodame Cantabile)
9.5 (usually downrounded): It would be a 10, but it doesn't sit right with me as a 10, because it just doesn't yet sit right with the label masterpiece to me. These ones need to survive the test of time before either dropping to 9 permanently or rise to 10.
10 "Masterpiece": 1. It's a masterpiece to me. There is nothing wrong with it, it does everything right that it intents to and it's all something I either liked to begin with or was literally made to like. (Kenshin Tsuiokuhen, Mouryo no Hako.) 2. It has minor drawbacks, but they are so minor, the don't get to tip off any weight in the balance. (Shinsekai Yori, God Child, Pandora Hearts Manga). 3. Something very good to boot, but with an ridiculous compilation of favorite elements boosts, it's unbelievable (Platina, Mawaru Penguindrum, Pandora Hearts Manga)
