Protect and React To The Big Bad Bully in Jackson Heights
We have been getting a lot of emails this time of year regarding self-defense and anti bully programs for children. We realize summer time has ended for your youngsters and it's really time to allow them to go back to school. Our greatest traditions at Holley's International in Jackson Heights, New York is our famous back to school anti bully defense program. It's a little different than our normal Karate and Fighting styles lessons. We understand that "Bullying" in schools is very real and may have a great influence on your child concentrating in school if they are always worrying about "The Big Bad Wolf" (once we call it in class) always hounding them and looking to strike fear in your children. Our goal for the students through our training is to help them find that inner confidence that they might of didn't know they had. We hope that they never need to use physical force to scare a bully away but we will help them learn how you can defend themselves and employ aggression and fear being an equalizer to fight their enemy.
Whether it's an altercation in the playground, name calling or invading your individual space or possessions we help your kids identify the situation by keeping a calm, cool and collective mindset in the specific situation they're encountering. We help assert great physical resistance training, proper awareness skills and de-escalation behavior inside your child for them to use all of the above to assist assess the predicament they're being devote and make a very rational decision to assist them get out of their dilemma. We help them to transform their fear right into a source of power and strength.
The key to all of this training is self discipline and after our 6 week course we promise that the child will come out of these lessons with a great deal of knowledge and awareness that they will never be in a position to learn without the great guidance and support of our staff at Jackson Heights Martial arts. The suggestions above are samples of lack of discipline. I have a 7yr old cousin may all my family being a "problem child" . Do you remember that movie? He's like the Dennis the Menace of the 21st century. I believed it was because his parents spoiled him rotten. Well I believe I was wrong on that. They simply didn't show him any discipline.
Now Michael (my 7yr old cousin) has been taking some Karate and Martial Arts classes within the Jackson heights area.
