Anime Relations: Kore wa Zombie desu ka?, Kore wa Zombie desu ka? OVA
This is the Hundred-and-fifty-first week of using the "Perfect Anime Girl Sheet". Notice: This Blog may contain Unmarked Spoilers.

Welcome back everyone, are you all glad to see me? I'm sure you are, as it seems that I died last week. Now, before I introduce today's girl I have a few things to say. First is thanks are to her, as she's the one who brought me back. Well, I'm not completely back but I'm sure those fingers will heal back fine.

The second is that, after seeing a friend play certain video games (one called "Dead Island" in particular) I've realized something. That is, zombies have pretty much become a standard enemy in media. Even if they're not called "zombies", but rather things like "infected" or similar titles they're pretty famous. Why, there's even been plenty of animes recently revolving around the premise! In other words, zombies have become a major "monster" in today's Horror genre and no doubt they should be honored this Halloween by a blog on one of them!

....

....

Yeah, I'm joking. Zombies are gross, half-decayed, and mindless. They wouldn't get a good blog and I'm not into that kind of thing.

However, there is one way to respect the Zombie archetype and that's to honor how it came to be. Sometimes it's an ancient curse reanimating corpses, other times it's a biological weapon from a big industry causing ill results. But we won't talk about things like that. Instead I'll talk about something I'm more familiar with, through extensive roleplaying games. You see...

That's right, we're doing a NECROMANCER!

That you are, and she's even here to help me folks! Now, there's some controversy on how to shorten her name. It's either Eu as that's what it probably is, or Yuu. I'll probably be calling her Yuu through out this blog.

Head
Hair: Yuu's hair is a very pretty light blue color. One could say that it's white, but I think it's just so light that it's hard to tell. Either way, it is a wonderful color. In addition to the color, she also usually has it free and it reaches past her butt as well. She did wear it up to bathe in, but that wasn't a long part. I should mention her helmet here as well. While it is unusual, I can't say it's a bad thing as it matches her outfit and gives her a medieval look that is great.
Grade: A-

Eyes: Yuu has smooth, blue eyes that match her hair well. She has an awesome tsurime as well. Overall, she's got great eyes with one major, but forgivable flaw. You folks at home can guess what that is.

: no glasses..
Grade: B

Face: She has a cute and emotionless face. It's pretty simple and calm, but still great. However, when her powers get transferred and she's finally able to smile she's so cute I can't believe it!
Grade: B

Body
Build: Yuu has a pretty shapely body. She's a bit thin (despite able to eat alot) and has a nice bum and legs. She's pretty much a "simple beauty", not being overly attractive, but definitely attractive.

: ...lolicon...

What? No I'm not, I'm just saying that you have a cute body. You're not necessarily loli anyway, that would be Haruna that's the token loli.
Grade: B

Breasts: Back when Yuu's show was still airing, her bust size was another source of controversy. Because of her breastplate, it was nearly impossible to tell how large her breasts actually were and how much was just metal plating/empty air (her breast plate looks like she'd have an average size). Unfortunately, for me at least, Yuu's actual breast size is on the lower end of average, and is near flat. I was a bit disappointed, but it's not too terrible.
Grade: D+

Clothes: As said before, Yuu's outfit isn't very revealing. She wears her battle armor everywhere, and underneath wears a long blue dress with white stripes on the blouse half. The reason for the armor, which contains the aforementioned breastplate and helmet, but also includes gauntlets and hip-guards (I don't know their official name). Though I can't complain about it as most gaming characters are always armored and it's just their sprite that doesn't show it.
: Convenience...
That it is, and also protects against surprise attacks. Her armor also works to limit her power, but I'll talk about that later.

She doesn't wear much besides those outfits in the series proper, but that's not the only thing she wears. She's been seen in official art to be wearing the local school uniform, but I probably shouldn't count that. Instead, we have Ayumu's fantasies for a bit of fun. He's imagined her as a maid, cat girl, and various other outfits. She's also worn a few other outfits, but none that are all that important. But the best outfit is DEFINITELY her school swimsuit. Every less-endowed girl should wear one in any fanservice episode (full nudity episodes are excluded). Then due to this and that, she ends up wearing what I'd like to call a "Venus" swimsuit. That is, think of the bare minimum a swimsuit has to cover, and the "Venus" swimsuit covers that almost exclusively. She even gets some very nice thighhighs that way as well.
: Stimulating...
I suppose it is, though I would say that I like the bustier girls in that type of outfit.
: .....
No offense meant, I just prefer you in the classic suzumizu after all.
Grade: B+

Mind
Personality: First things first, Yuu seems an emotionless girl, but is really a kuudere. She's sweet if she's able to communicate her feelings. However, her powers are based off of her emotions. She's an incredibly powerful necromancer and so being unable to control it causes people to take some serious damage (which is why she rarely shows emotion). As a necromancer, in this universe anyway, that includes being able to heal wounds and raise the dead (the latter being the primary task of most necromancers that I know of). It's said that she takes in the pain of others when she does this, which is why she takes the word "die" so seriously. To threaten her friends is definitely a death threat as all she needs to do is say the word "die" repeatably and her voice is so powerful that the target eventually DOES. And yes, there's similar abilities in DnD.

As you can tell, she also writes messages rather than speak (her notebook also becomes a scythe, so it's a good thing she always carries it with her). This leads to the male lead (Ayumu) having her have to talk in his perverted dreams. However, how do you think of a voice that you haven't heard? The obvious solution is apparently to pick out a TON of VA's for her. It became somewhat of a running joke to see who would voice her next. The running list is:
Main: Midori Tsukimiya
Ep 1: Kotono Mitsuishi
Ep 2: Mika Kanai
Ep 3: Tomoko Kaneda
Ep 4: Yuuko Minaguchi
Ep 5: Satomi Koorogi
Ep 6: Sakura Tange
Ep 7: Yuki Matsuoka
Ep 8: Noriko Hidaka
Drama CD: Yukari Tamura
So as you can see, she's got plenty of voices, and not only that but her singing voice is awesome and adorable.
:song...?
Grade: A

Libido: Unfortunately her powers doesn't let her feel emotions. This includes these kind of feelings as well. Still, I think that Ayumu and Yuu is probably the primary couple in the series.
Grade: C

Age: Yuu's actual age is unknown. She looks to be about the age of an average teenager, but to be truthful I wouldn't be surprised if she was much older than she looks. After all, she is a magic user, and a quite powerful one as well.
Grade: B

Total Grades: 70
Average score: 7.8
Final Grade: B

Oh look, a video tape!
