Itazura na Kiss - 24
LOL @ pseudo-ending, and even further LOL @ the preview acknowledging otherwise. I had to check the filename several times to make sure I was watching the right one--technically impossible considering there's a playlist in place, and the previous preview tallying with this episode, but hey, I was paranoid.
Loved the symmetry of the episode. InK must have either been
a) A really easy manga to adapt.
or;
b) Crafted by an outstanding director/producer/screenwriter.
The coincidence between both Naoki and Kotoko fighting the biggest battle of their lives yet was remarkable. How's that for escalation of conflict? It's said that in fiction, no conflict should be lesser than the last, and it's certainly been this way for this gem of a series. I had no idea shoujo could be so plain and yet so unbelievably awesome at the same time. Stand corrected. Now, for the last episode...
...and a slowed-down viewing of the credits again since I wasn't really paying attention to the offspring of the various characters. Pairing everybody off with somebody--now that's a shoujo staple, but in this context not too unbearable, at least.
