My mom finally caved in and called Comcast to get us their High Speed Internet with PowerBoost plan.

Took her long enough >:(.

Unfortunately, we won't actually be switching over until September 26 because thats the earliest that they can come on over and install what needs to be installed.

So I will still have fucking AOL Dial-Up until Friday morning/afternoon.

EDIT: The Comcast Cable man came by and installed everything :D.

I now have Comcast High Speed Internet with PowerBoost, WOOT!

I just checked an article, and it looks like it's 600 GB a month, NOT 90 GB a month. PHEW.

Source: 600 GB Comcast "Invisible" Bandwidth Limit

Same here. I would be downloading anime alot more than watching it online because I have time limits placed on me by my mother.

Right now, with dial-up anyways, I only get 3 hours a day between the hours of 6 AM-12 AM/Midnight.

Hopefully when we switch to Comcast, my mom will change my time limit schedule to 4 or 5 hours a day, without the "between the hours of 6 AM-12 AM/Midnight" part.

I don't like .rmvb but sometimes it's the only version out for some animes I want.. :/

90 GB!!! :O Oh SHIT!!! Well, hopefully they won't notice me.....

(I tend to download .avi or .flv formatted videos alot more than smaller ones like .rm or .rmvb)

I guess so.. as long as you don't hit their invisible bandwidth line..
Which shouldn't be a problem unless you download a lot of anime..
I think it was mentioned to be around 90 GB a month or something.

I don't need to worry though, since I only download non-torrented english dubbed anime.

Right?

Those are links to news sources of Comcast banning anime downloaders and everyone else who uses a "certain amount of bandwidth".. O.o

Why would they ban someone who is paying them cash?

Also, how can they tell when you're downloading anime for free?

Comcast is known for banning/disabling those who use P2P programs such as Torrent Programs to download anime, etc.. :/

It’s time to ditch the text file.
