Otou-san – Maes Hughes (Fullmetal Alchemist)



Maes is awesome. That's why. He gets second place for “Best Anime Father” as far as I'm concerned. So since the best anime father is my husband, second best can be my own father. Let's just hope he doesn't run around showing pictures of me to everyone. I guess Spirit from Soul Eater can be a runner up since he's funny.

Okaa-san – Midarezaki Kyouka/Eaeriaea Kyoukya (Kyouran Kazoku Nikki)



I had no idea who to pick here. Kyouka seems like a good mother, so I'll just pick her. I can't imagine how crazy she'll be when she gets in her granny years.

Crazed, Half Exiled Uncle – Dr. Franken Stein (Soul Eater)



Stein kicks ass. In a spinny chair. End of story.

Onee-san – Milly Ashford (Code Geass)



I can see Milly giving her younger sister the latest scoop on the person she likes, the person she hates, etc. Of course she seems a bit annoying on the outside, but I really think she has good intentions a lot of times. This choice was kind of spur of the moment, but I think it works.

Crazed, Exiled Onee-san Currently Residing in an Asylum – Nina Einstein (Code Geass)



I did it for the luls.

Onii-san – Okazaki Tomoya (Clannad)



I have a feeling if Tomoya had a younger sister, he'd probably protect her to the death. He'd also probably develop a little sister complex, but that has nothing to do with this. The only other anime character I know that is like this is Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass, but if he was my older brother, there would be some incest, so I decided against that one. The other runner up would be Ozma Lee from Macross Frontier because he's so protective of somebody that isn't even related to him but thinks he's her brother.

Long Lost Onii-san – Lockon Stratos/Neil Dylandy (Mobile Suit Gundam 00)



Well, you see, one day, our house was burned down while the rest of the family was shopping. Ever since then, we haven't seen him. Huh... I wonder where he went...

Imouto – Miyako (Hidamari Sketch)



I don't know why, but ever since I started thinking about it, I really love Miyako. She's so random, and even though she's obsessed with food, she's so lovable. Runners up include Mikamo Chizuko (she needs some familial love), Kinomoto Sakura (she's adorable), and Midarezaki Yuuka/Himemiya Reiko (she's adorable and needs love, too).

Otouto – Makoto (Minami-ke)



A trap brother, what more could one ask for? I... really didn't know who to pick for this. And I don't mean I had too many choices... I had no choices. But I finally remembered Makoto and decided to pick him.

Hazubando – Furukawa Akio (Clannad)



Akio is, honestly, the best father in the world. That's seriously the only reason I picked him. The play scene in Clannad was completely epic, and is probably my favorite scene from the show. I don't think he's “sexy,” nor do I think he would be “good in the sack.” He would just make the perfect father to children, and that's all there is to it.

Musume – Kuhouin Murasaki (Kurenai)



Murasaki is completely adorable. She is amazingly intelligent for her age, and gains so much courage in the end. While she was bratty at the beginning of the series, she quickly changes into an amazing girl. Runner up was Midarezaki Yuuka/Himemiya Reiko (again) because she's adorable and needs love.

Musuko – Itoshiki Majiru (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei)



At a loss again for choices. I guess in the end I just want my own mini Itoshiki-sensei. Runners up are nobody because I don't know any adorable little boys in anime. Try asking Michael Jackson next time.

Invisible Deity – Furude Hanyuu (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai)



Every so often, we've seen a cute little girl chargin' her laserz, but we aren't quite sure who she is.

Accidental Transfer Student – Kate (Sketchbook ~full color'S~)



I love Kate. She's my favorite anime foreigner. Runner up would be Elise von Dietrich from Sky Girls, I guess.

Pet Cat – Yamada Chi (Chi's Sweet Home)



I had to. <3 Chi.
