Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z
Umm... well, it's sort of what I was expecting and then it wasn't. I was expecting it to be kind of stupid, and it is. However, I was expecting it to have a similar storyline to the original Powerpuff Girls. And I watched the first episode going "...what the heck?" I mean, I wanted to at least try this PPG anime, but it's just annoying me right now because I really like the original Powerpfuf Girls.
And another thing- what is up with Blossom?? She used to be reliable and the no-nonsense one of the group and know she's the most nonsenical of the bunch! Since when is she obsessed with eating snacks and flirting with boys?? o.o
The girls didn't even really know eachother, either! They're just random girls who got zapped with former chemical x renamed chemical "z". So they completely lost their sister relationship they used to have, not to mention the father and daughter relationship with the professor, that's completely gone. Apparentley the proffesor has a son now, and he's the one who accidentally zapped them trying to get rid of a weather disaster. So the professor wasn't trying to create his three perfect little girls at all. D: Speaking of which, they're not even little girls anymore. They're in middle school.
I don't think I can stand much more of this, but so far I've gotten through four episodes. At least the animation and character designs are cute. -___-
