Damn you, Wallmart!
Okay, a few months ago, I go to Walmart's garden dept. looking to buy a cactus on a whim. After about two months of owning it, I notices that there hadn't really been a change in the flowers on it. They still looked the same as when I bought them. Upon closer inspection of the flowers, I noticed that they had been hot-glued on. Hot-frickin'-glued. After telling Walmart about this and threatening to alert the local news, they sent someone out to the local Walmart to inspect. Turns out the flowers fell off during shipping. "They were supposed to have been grafted on, but they fell off during shipping so the shippers hot-glued them on." Considering how she tried to defend the bastards that gave me a defective cactus, I wouldn't doubt it if they had more cacti like mine.
All I have to say is, don't buy plants at Walmart.

No, I didn't alert the news, and I still have the same old cactus. He's doing fine.
