Both series involve a human male lead being summoned by gateway to an alternate fantasy world by a loli voiced by Kugimiya Rie. Both have strong fantasy, magic, ecchi and romance elements.

The voice actress for Nagi and Astarotte are the same. Though Naoya's specific job is that of a member of Astarotte's harem, he seems to function more as a sort of butler. The overall feel of a master/servant environment is evident in both series.

Both have the 'boy gets into a completely different world' plot, the boy sucked into the world of the non-human lead. Both are fantasy genres that are fairly recent. (Heck, they're even both 2011 spring titles)

Both shows shares many similar elements like the fantasy environment and some other things like similar chars and so on. Also both main chars starts out with getting a job.. in another world!

it's not THAT similar, it's just that both anime has a guy that's, for Astarotte IS a father, and in papa is just kinda like a father, both taking care of a child. Astarotte isn't a story about that though, papa is more of a family story, and Astarotte is more of a romance stuff

Both are tear-jerking, heart-warming, touching, and astounding love stories with a female Tsundere protagonist (both voiced by Rie Kugimiya).

Both series take place in a demon realm that parallels the real world, where the main characters are young humanoid demons seeking power like their past relatives. Both have strong comedy and fantasy elements.

Romance between a 23-24 year old guy and an 8-10 year old girl. Kodomo no Jikan is ridiculously ecchi and focuses on an oversexualized and bratty third grader who sexually harasses her new teacher a lot, and Astarotte's Toy is about a ten year old succubus who tries to get over her extreme dislike of men by starting out her harem with a human male.

People come from a different world and fall in love and stuff...

Everytime I saw main heroine I remembered Lala because of the tail. Also in To Love Ru Lala is mad in love with the main hero the same way it's here.

The lolis are almost the same character and even if the character background isn't exactly the same, they surely are very similar in that aspect as well. Despite both being a comedy, the plot in both series isn't as shallow as one might think. Even when putting all the similarities aside, it's a must watch show for people who love lolis. Uzamaid got the perverted lolicon maid who is very direct when it comes to her superior taste in women (both in the script and in the animation) and Astarotte is more ecchi themed with lots of loli fanservice. The art/animation in both series is a  read more

Both about succubus' that are afraid of males and a male ordered to help the girl over her fear of them. They both have very different settings though.

Harem, comedy, similar drawing style. I really dunno why, but when I think of Astarotte, I immediately imagine Tayutama.

Similar seiyuu, similar art, similar characters, similar genre (style of humor), similar relationship between characters. :P This one totally reminded me of the other! xD

So when I heard Seikon no Qwaser uses "sucking on breast for milk gives strength" as a plot device which was a ridiculous idea, Astarotte no Omocha! introduced "drinking semen to gain immortality and beauty" We're all going to hell for watching this sort of shows....

Similarities: Both main leads (the muchacho from AO and chica from SO) are unwilling people who by some strange chance were drag into another world. Both main leads have no idea what they are in for. Both main leads have no idea that they are getting into someone's nerves. Both has some degree of ecchi in it. Both genre have fantasy and fairytale in it. Dissimilarities: The main lead in AO is a full Otoko, while in SO, the main lead is an Onna. One has some degree of tragedy kind of genre, while the other has a twisted genre form of history in it.
