Koisuru Boukun

To appreciate Koi Suru Boukun, you need to rate it as a yaoi rather than as an anime. Thus, I have given it an 8.

Yaoi can be a bit tricky because like other forms of hentai, it's purpose is to arouse rather than to present the viewer with a complex plot and fascinating characters. This is actually one of the best yaoi I have ever had the pleasure of watching because it did a very good job at being subtle and sexy while avoiding the tired uke and seme stereotypes that typically bog down the experience and give the viewer almost a sensation of ... watching straight porn. Both of the men involved in this series are masculine, attractive, and aggressive in their own way, and their struggles with each other for power out and inside the bedroom add greatly to it's appeal.

A key point to this review for those who have not yet seen the series is that **this is a rape fantasy yaoi** with the rape presented in a more light hearted way. If you have experienced some sort of sexual assault in your past, you may want to pass this one up to avoid possible triggers. Moreso, if you don't find rape fantasy arousing or disagree with the concept, you will not like this show.


The art is very impressive compared to many other yaoi anime I have watched, in which the cover art is very good while the inside is lackluster. This is not the case with Koi Suru Boukun. What you see is what you get, and the art is consistently very nice through out the course of the show.

Not much can be said about the sound though. It's a porn, so having an elegant background score probably wasn't a huge priority for them.

If you want to compare this show to anime outside it's genre it probably wouldn't fare too well, but inside it's genre it shines. Koi Suru isn't exactly a unique yaoi, but it gets the job done in all of the right places and it should definitely be placed on the to watch list of every fan of the genre.

This is one of the best yaoi work I've ever seen. Everything from the art to the sound was awesome. It's a refreshing piece compared to all the cliche yaois out there, such as rich men buying poor helpless boys into being their sex slaves or school boys having twisted love triangles.

If you haven't seen Koi Suru Boukun yet, GO DO IT NOW. I assure you that you won't regret it.

NB: If you're against malexmale or any 'forced' sex then please refrain. Although, the 'forcing' isn't really extreme.

-I really enjoyed the plot. The pace is just right, and it slowly shows how Souichi is accepting Mori into his life. Not too much sex, since that would be a buzzkill. Just the right amount of it so the watchers won't get bored, and just the right amount of character development and storyline to keep it moving and interesting.

-Oh MAMA! You gotta admit that Souichi's 'voicing' is ultra hot&smexy. I hate yaois when they make the uke sound like a total girl and it gets REALLY boring after a while. However, Midorikawa manages to give it spice and get the viewers intrigued, eh heh heh.

-What I really liked was how the characters were strong but somehow very delicate in a sense. Like Souichi for example. Although he has a tough and shrewd exterior, he also displays a soft fragility from time to time which is very amusing to watch.

-Some of you may be thinking this is too high of a rating but really, I think they deserve it. Everything was perfect.

I saw that a voice actor for character that I liked was the main character for this. I sort-of randomly clicked it, saw that it was about HOMOS, saw that it was only two episodes, and said, okay, I'll give it a watch, why not?

Now, uh... I didn't quite know what I was in for but what I ended up seeing was a bit surprising for me. The reason this didn't get a 2 or a 1 was because I enjoyed the voice acting from the two main characters; even if the lines were bad, they spoke with vigor that kept me interested.

The ... story is pretty flat: homo likes a homophobe; we all know that 99.9% of those people are actually homos themselves. That's uh... basically it. It centers around two characters with other seemingly useless characters peppered in for no real reason. Also, spoilers, they include a fucking bottle of wine that, if consumed, makes the drinker stupid horny. SIGH.

Art? Not bad. Typical 2010 style, nothing extraordinary.

The soundtrack was nothing worth mentioning; very average.

OKAY. The characters were... uh. Annoying? There's basically only two you have to discuss and that's the homo and the "homophobe". "Homophobe" is just a mega tsundere with an attitude, and homo? Uh. Kind-of an optimistic guy whose like, drive and character seem to be fixed on the fact that he LOVES the "homophobe".

Enjoyment? Eh.

I will discuss my major gripe with this right now. It contains spoilers so if you don't want to be spoiled, stop reading now. Right, so, I was majorly bothered by the lack of consent used by the homosexual character in this show. There were many, many, MANY instances during their initial sex scene that the homophobic character insisted that nothing more happen, etc. At NO point did the ever verbally agree to the number of things the homosexual character did. On top of that, the homosexual character just didn't quite... understand that concept.

In either event, their relationship was just off-putting and unsavory. Consent is sexy, that's all I will say.

First of all, if you're triggered by rape I wouldn't recommend watching this. It wasn't the worst yaoi I'd ever watched, but it wasn't the best, by far. I'm pretty neutral about it, though I would't recommend it to anyone. My friend who was a total yaoi & hentai novice was completely traumatized by the sound effects, poor girl. The thing that really bothers me is how this asshat's pony tail has a strand that is going the wrong way into the hair tiel, how does that even happen. I'd say go ahead and watch it, but it's not that ... enriching an experience.

Plot (0 of 3): Morinaga loves his Senpai who is homophobic, for not having chances with his Senpai, Morinaga's friend gives a stimulating drug to help him with his love, Senpai has a homo brother who is marrying somewhere, the gay marriage has been legally there, Senpai is angry and sad. Morinaga invites him to go to his house and drown his sorrows. After all the beer is over, Senpai asks Morinaga to buy more, meanwhile he, already drunk begins to look for more beer, until he finds the drink that was given to Morinaga by his friend and drinks. When Morinaga arrives and finds his Senpai doped, instead of helping him, Morinaga decides to have sex with him against his will. After the incident, the logically irritated Senpai says that he's never wants to see the face of Morinaga ever again, Morinaga runs away from home. After unnecessary melodrama, the Senpai that was looking for Morinaga in his house for two weeks realizes that the door of his apartment is open. He enters and Morinaga is there, Senpai cries and tells him to never do this again, that he missed him and blah blah blah. They fuck again, but Senpai refuses to admit they are boyfriends. End.
Basically this story begins and ends nowhere, the conclusion besides being totally open, is garbage. Senpai is practically raped in the two times they do, but does absolutely nothing, showing that it he's just a Tsundere and the whole plot is just an excuse for the sex scenes.

Characters (0 of 2): Both Morinaga and his Senpai are characters without charisma, boring and very poorly written, it is clear that the series is focused only on the male fanservice and BL, taking away that there is nothing left, Senpai is the type of Tsundere of the worst kind, besides being a pain in the ass most of the time, is an stupid character. Morinaga manages to be worse, is the kind of person who uses all kinds of tactics to get what he wants, even against Senpai's will, to have sex with him and make cheap blackmail, his love for Senpai is sick.

Art/Animation (0 of 2): Trash. I've seen anime from 1980 with a better production, it's extremely dated, with bad backgrounds and character design.

OST (0 of 2): None. All the background music is forgettable and passable, often the tracks makes the scene worse.

Personal Taste (1 of 1): I'm not homo, but it does not stop me from enjoying a Yaoi series, that was not the case. Koisuru Boukun is annoying, with a poor production quality, with a plot of extreme bad taste and horribly stupid. The comedy is funny sometimes and made me laugh, taking away that, nothing entertained me.

Final Verdict: 1/10. It is fanservice garbage.

Personagens (0 de 2): Tanto Morinaga quando seu Senpai são personagens sem carisma algum, chatos e muito mal feitos, está claro que a obra é focada apenas do fanservice masculino e no BL, tirando isso não sobra nada, O Senpai é o tipo de Tsundere da pior espécie, além de ser um pé no saco na maioria das vezes, é um personagem idiota. Morinaga consegue ser pior, é o tipo de pessoa que usa todo tipo de tática para conseguir o quer, mesmo contra a vontade do Senpai, transa com ele e faz chantagens baratas, a amor dele pelo Senpai é doentio.

Arte/Animação (0 de 2): Ultrapassada demais. Já vi anime de 1980 com uma produção melhor, é extremamente datada, com péssimos backgrounds e caracter design.

OST (0 de 2): Inexistente. Todas as músicas de fundo são esquecíveis e passáveis, muitas vezes essas músicas pioram as cenas.

Gosto Pessoal (1 de 1): Apesar de ser hétero nada me impede de gostar de uma obra Yaoi, esse não foi o caso. Koisuru Boukun é entediante, com uma produção de péssima qualidade, com um enredo de extremo mal gosto e horrivelmente idiota. A comédia é engraçada as vezes e me tirou pequenas risadas, tirando isso, nada me entreteve na obra.

This anime is the greatest masterpiece I've ever had the pleasure of watching! It's more than just entertainment. It's a lesson in morality that no anime fan and no human being should miss out on. I've learned many things watching it, and now let me spread the message further. Here are some of the deep truths that this anime had revealed to me:

1. Homophobes are gay, and getting raped is just the nudge they need to get out of the closet.

2. Rape is funny and something akin to a minor social faux pas, not a crime.

3. If you've raped someone, don't worry. Your victim MUST ... be the one to blame for it becaude he wasn't taking you seriously enough.

4. If raped, don't call the cops. Romance your rapist instead.

5. Rape is an excellent start to a successful relationship!

And now, my friends, let us all take those glorious lessons to heart and never forget them. Peace!

It made me laugh but the sexual assault was not a vibe.

Not the worst, but definitely not the best, but maybe I have high standards. Some people will like it, but I'm definitely not in that category. I will give it this, however: it's better than Boco no Pico and Yarichin Bitch Club so I'll give it that. It didn't make me want to projectile vomit, it just made me really regret my life choices as a human being which is already a step up from those two I previously mentioned, so congratulations, I guess.
Would I watch this again? Hell no, I respect myself ... too much to do that. Would I recommend this to others? It depends on how much of a degenerate they are.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but im pretty sure repeated rape (forced sexual assault if you will) is NOT romantic.
This is insulting to any rape victim ever, especially male rape victims who often cannot seek help for the fear of disbelief and mocking. I think the one ones who would enjoy this kind of anime are obsessed fujoshi with no sense of discerning appropriate and inappropriate portrayals of male/male relationships.
Please don't watch this anime. I'm not one for giving bad ratings, but if I could have, I would have given it an absolute zero. But since it's not possible, I guess I would have ... to give it a generous 1.

If you've never heard about Koisuru Boukun, I'm highly suggesting you take a peek at the original yaoi, after watching this. Why? Because it's a work that deserves to be appreciated and that I'm highly suggesting you read.
Of course there are many yaoi out there and the major part of them do have the same plot pattern –this anime, unfortunately is one of those. But despite that, it's really worth a try.
Maybe it's too focused on the main characters, forgetting to give space to others side characters as well, but I like the way it is, though the manga's pace is really slow if compared ... to the anime.


Story: 6

Why the long praise if the story is only rated 6? Well, that's obvious. 'Cause this yaoi has nothing new or innovative if compared to the others. The pattern is the same, always the same, and won't change too much if you have a tsundere joining the party. Morinaga is in love with his senpai, ut it's a one-sided love. YAAAY.
So, the deal is making senpai fall in love by trying to rape– I meant, to end up with him at bed with the sole purpose of being treated (at good reason sometimes) as the worst human being that ever walked on Earth.
Of course, nothing to complain since that's an attitude more than expected from tsuntsun characters. I've read many yaoi to the point that I can tell the plot of most of them and how the story will turn out even after an episode or a chapter.
The way things work/turn out is always the same though Koisuru makes everything more complicated by never bringing Souichi to admit his love for Morinaga.
Enjoy, girls. You'll turn 90 and yet you'll have to find out if Souichi will ever be honest about himself.
Nothing new for the plot.

Pretty good. It's smooth and sometimes also fluid. The backgrounds are nothing particularly special, there are no outstanding features but I bet the anime budget wasn't even in the beginning so high as someone would expect.
Instead on investing money on yaoi, apparently the Japanese anime societies prefer to waste– I meant, spend lots of yen bucks for dancing idols/homos, touching each other in the butt but obviously NOT pretending being heterosexual for the only heroine in the entire story, that is punctually a boring, normal and annoying girl with no qualities (every reference to existing rev-harem anime is purely casual).

I got sick of that damn music they're playing in the sex scenes. Really, I'm not asking for a miracle, but at least a decent ost? Something that wouldn't give you chills when you're watching certain parts?

Character: 4

I like Souichi. His character design is what I appreciate the most about him. The seyuu too, it's a great choice made by the authors. Hikaru Midorikawa is sure a voice that rings some bells.
To huge fans of BL stuff, surely won't sound unfamiliar a name like Shiki, from Togainu no Chi (TNC) but even on Kirepapa as Chisato (laxative for his son's friends, yaaay!).
His voice has something really cute that can adapt to every situation, both uke and seme. The only problem with Souichi, well, he's that he's a stereotypical character, and as a tsundere he has lots of flaws.
A character that reflects a model is never 100% original, it has to fit a scheme and so... how can I say it? It loses its potential. Well, then again there's the motto: "De gustibus non disputandi". So, you may like it or hate it, I'ts up to you. Probably out there there are also fangirls squeezing at tsuntsun characters.
Much more dislike for Morinaga-kun. He's a good guy/gay (I think) but, in some ways, he's also childish, sneaky and possessive (I know that to those who just saw the anime it may sound a contradiction, but if you ever happen to read the manga you'll understand how annoying he is, though he really loves his senpai).

Overall, despite my strong dislike for Morinaga-kun, despite the crappy sound, the stereotypical characters and the obviously and totally predictable plot, I like this yaoi. It's one of my favorites ones because, differently from the others, are tentacles-free, there's no bondage, no raping (well, just slightly, but in the end Souichi lets Morinaga have his way through, so...), and don't need s**t like chains or other perverted and f*cked up and sick stuff to gain popularity. For once, we have a powerful uke, who doesn't look like he'd die if separed by his seme. Souichi could live even without the brat– his kouhai, though he'd still suffer at the beginning. At least in this case, there's not a real dependence between the two characters, thing that you'd usually find in many other works such as Junjou Rapentica. So, in overall, the show is quite enjoyable. If you're fond of yaoi, obviously.

Let me just say that the manga of this story is absolutly amazing and my favorite it Comedy/Romance and Yaoi catagories so excuse me if i mention it a few times and compair the two.
~Story~
The Ova covers the First Volumes first five chapters, and in a manga thats 7 volumes and going you can obviously see that the plot of the Ova barely scratched the surface of the true plot. However, since i cant judge it like that i will try to judge it individually. When i heard that the manga had been turned into a short Ova i was not expecting ... much for two reasons.
The first is that the manga still is not finished, making an ova/anime when the manga has yet to finish usually always ends up terrible. The second reason is because you cant fit such a huge plot in two short episodes because then it would just end up too confusing and stupid.
When i watched it i was actually suprised, not for the good reason either. Usually when i look at an anime im usually wrong about it (at least i admit it). If i think it will be bad its usually decent and if i think it will be good it makes me bored. This one i was spot on about and honestly the only thing i got out of this was an ego boost. The Ova was rushed, didnt go into the actual story line although i didnt expect it to and honestly it really did no justice to the actual story or the writter.

The art was pretty good actually, the manga had better art but this was decent art for an ova.
~Characters~
We all know that in short Ova's usually you dont get to reach into the characters lives/pasts. You just kind of have to guess that stuff and usually i have no problem with that. However the characters are a lot deeper than the Ova made them out to be.
~Overall~
I think i probably would have rated it a lot higher if i hadnt read the manga. I guess as i said im kind of partial to this because of that. I did my best to rate it individually however its not always easy when your so dissapointed. Having said that if i look at it as itself and not as having a manga heres what i summerize.
The manga has good art, funny characters and a cute relationship between the two main characters. However based on what you see the relationship is shallow and quickly explained.
I gave the manga a 10/10 all around, however sadly for its Ova i give it a 6/10.
If you really enjoyed the Ova i stress that you read the manga, if you love the manga i stress that you watch the Ova.

Well, to start this off, I'm not really a yaoi fan, so if you're like me and not into yaoi, you might want to check out my review, or if you want an honest opinion from someone who doesn't usually dabble in this genre.

To say the least, I have shipped my fair share of lesbian or gay couples and I have a massive list of ships, many of which are gay. I've never directly dabbled in yaoi because a.) it's hard to come across in mainstream shonen circles, which is where I spend a lot of my time, b.) because it's a little unrealistic and ... too filled with sex for my tastes and c.) because I don't really like the way they portray roles of a 'feminine' and 'masculine' person in the relationship. However, I was watching citrus (again, I just wanted to try out the genre... can't say I've been liking that either) when Koisuru Boukun showed up in my recommendations.

Unfortunately, I wasn't told there was sex in it. I assumed it was implied. I've read my fair share of Hapi Mari?! and watched shows like Mitsu x Mitsu Drops, but this is more *ahem* /detailed/ than I'm used to. I wasn't very into this for many reasons.

First of all, the story had a lot of potential. I'm not the biggest fan of long, unnecessary sex scenes in my anime, but since it needed to be there, I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't so... unsettling. It was a little graphic, yes (I should've checked the rating: the was a fault on my part) but I was mostly unsettled because of the dubious (or nonexistent) consent going on. It was more of a rape situation. That really hampered my enjoyment of this OVA.

The art was pretty and the sound was good enough (there were some squelching noises I could definitely do without).

The characters left more to be desired. It was all focused on them, yet they made little sense and their motivations seemed to change too sporadically.

Either way, I was able to get through it (better than Mitsu x Mitsu Drops, either way, probably around the same story quality as Diabolik Lovers) and there were some funny parts.

I would recommend this if: you're not big on consent, you want to watch for the sex scenes, you like yaoi, you like aphrodisiac plot bunnies

I would NOT recommend this if: you are looking for something artsy and classy, you want something deep, you do not like sex scenes

In the end, I will probably never watch this again and I'm a little miffed that I spent time doing it. Oh well.

I would say give this one a pass unless there's nothing else to sate your need for some Yaoi (which let's face it, is often a time of drought as it is).

While the animation is decent and the sex scenes are all right, the set up is not ideal and spends almost the whole of the second episode waffling about justifying last episode's actions.

One of the main characters in this duo is rather unlikable to boot, not that you want to see bad things happen to him, but that he has a bad personality and an off-putting view point. Doesn't help that he's played by ... Hikaru Midorikawa, whom I usually love, but can't stand listening to in BL titles (which he keeps landing roles for!).

I just saw the OVA and I love it. I've read the manga before so I was curious and at the same time excited when I heard that they will turn this into an anime. It was short, yet it's very satisfying.

Really really great! it's a story not used normally. It's cute and great. They focus on everything, not just with the sex. Slowly, they showed how Souichi is accepting Morinaga in his life, despite him being a homophobe. BTW, I also love the "forcing". kyahhhh!

Definitely ... 10! I hate yaoi and shounen-ai that has a feminine voice for their characters specially when it looks so "manly." I almost fainted with Souichi's voice. I think my ovary just exploded.His moans is just to smexy.

Obviously, I'll give it a 10, I've been praising about since like--- in the beginning. But some of you might disagree, so I'll settle with 9. One of my favorite Yaoi ever! 4 words, I really love it.

PS: I know some of you might think I'm exag. and I'm overrating this, but what can I do? I watch a lot of yaoi yet I can say that this one is a gem.

Even though I gave this anime such a high rating, I was honestly a bit iffy about it at first. When I started out watching the first episode, it was great! The animation was beautiful, the characters weren't all angel-like, it was funny, and entertaining, if not a small bit violent (just a punch and some rough man-handling). The characters (read the uke) weren't all innocent and sweet, rather they were flawed and had their own problems. It was towards the end of that first episode that I started getting a little uncomfortable because there was non-con at the end, but it all works out, ... eventually.

Other than that, this is actually one of my favorite yaois, because it puts a spin on the stereotypical seme and uke, I was completely taken by surprise when I found out which one was which. There's a lot of humor that will make you just burst out laughing, but at the same time, it's sensual and romantic as well. Overall, it's outstanding, and I would definitely recommend people to watch this.

As someone who has watched many yaoi's, it's hard to find one that's not cliched and full of adorable uke's getting forced into sex by seme's (and secretly loving it). This was a breath of fresh air, the men are actually both fully grown for once. If that's not something you're into, don't watch this.

It actually has a plot, although simple, and this makes a world of difference in separating it from other mindless yaois. The animation, art and sound are all great, the characters refreshing. For anyone who's sick of the usual, this is the anime for you! A great watch.

Firstly, I have to say that I might be overanalyzing my experience, but I wanted to share my thoughts anyway

As a teenager I was one of those girls who were completely obsessed with Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, and I mean REALLY obseesed - I remember even wanting the SH outro played at my future wedding.

Anyway, for the first time in over 6 years I decided to watch BL again in hopes of experiencing that same euphoric feeling I felt back then. Did I once, during these 2 episodes even come close to feel euphoric? Answer: not in the slightest.

Comparing Koisuru boukun ... with JR and SH might be incorrect since KB is considered a yaoi while SH and JR are shounen ai, but some of the elements are the same in all 3 shows.

Like I said in the beginning of this review; I might be overanalyzing, but I can't shake off the uneasy feeling that the LITERAL RAPE that occurs in these kind of series make me feel. In the first episode, blu-haired guy (I was in too much shock to even remember their names) forced himself on white hair in several ways. Nobody can deny that it was rape.

And I know, it's nothing new. Basically all of the (at least the older ones) goes this way, but watching this now just got me thinking how fucked up it is? And it got me thinking how fucked up I must've been as a 15 year old to never realize this and being the borderline obsessive girl that I was.

And yes, it's a cartoon, I know. But as a 23 year with different experience with sexuality, relationships and the world compared to my 15 year old self, rape, in any context or setting, makes me uneasy. I find storylines like these problematic, because it's only about the physical relationship - but it's nothing wrong with that! But there are ways to make a series about the physical relationship between 2 individuals without making about rape.

Yaoi will probably always have a special place in my heart, since it was such big part of my teenage-years, and since KB reminds me so much of SH and JR (which I loved so much) I still rated it a 5, mostly for the animation and atmosphere.

I mean,if you need an example of the It’s Not Rape If You Enjoyed it trope, then look no further than Koisuru Boukun! My God is this creepy. I mean yes, there are a lot of ecchi animes with the storyline of getting the person drunk and then molesting them, and then eventually the drunk person will start liking it sort of thing, and they’re all bothersome to some extent but this one I found extra disturbing. Maybe because it’s played for laughs, or perhaps because the guy who gets drunk is totally straight and doesn’t like gay people, but the guy plying him with ... alcohol has sex with him anyway, but it’s probably a combination of both.
Now I don’t’ know if it’s explored more in the manga or not and maybe it’s because the anime is so short, but the way it’s played off like Tatsumi liked it eventually so why is he complaining is just gross. I might end up reading some of it, just to see because the angle the story takes is a different one than regularly seen in a yaoi manga. With the homophobe having to learn to like gay people, it’s an interesting take. Also it’s well drawn and animated, the characters are for the most part enjoyable; I really like Tatsumi’s grumpiness. I just don’t like the “love story” aspect. If you’re into that sort of fantasy, or can look past it, I’d suggest this. If not well…it’s only a couple episodes so it wouldn't be a complete waste of time.

Not a big fan of watching OVAs, but I decided to start doing so because I wouldn't know what I'd be missing out on if I didn't.

Recently got into the Yaoi (mainly Shounen-Ai), watching Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. I've learned to appreciate the stories of said anime since they actually have some substance behind the drama and well, sexual stuff XD

Anyway, this 2 episode OVA was good, the storu was nicely paced out being that it's only 2 episodes, and it wasn't too exaggerated with the sexual scenes. I like stories like these, and it ended on a funny note, which is perfect for ... this short anime, in my opinion.

I'm giving this a seven because I enjoyed it and it was short and to the point. No one said anything in this anime, nor did they behave in a way that would make me roll my eyes! Once, an anime doesn't have me rolling my eyes they are safe lol.

This anime had all the key ingredients to create a great yaoi/shounen-ai anime,...and let us praise the heavens because it does not disappoint!! The protagonists were more than loveable characters, the plot was light, funny, romantic, incredibly adorable and of course, there were some steamy love scenes which made me as giddy as a school girl, ki-ki-ki-ki-kiii :3 lol

Story: 8
I give the story a mark of 8 because although the core layout of the anime is somewhat similar to other shounen ai and yaoi animes, the way in which the author has embellished it bringing their own unique spin to the formula is quite ... good and enjoyable. In addition, the character development proceeds at a natural pace without leaving the audience in a daze thus enhancing the quality of the story. The mood within the anime is both comical and romantic, however it does touch on some more thought provoking topics at certain points which adds another dimension to the story.

Art: 8
I liked the art. I liked how the proportions were quite natural looking and also how the colours which were used in different scenes portrayed how the characters felt. Their faces were also very attractive looking which is always a bonus. (sorry, I'm not very good at critically analysing art)

Sound: 8
(again, this is just my personal opinion hear, not a sound expert or anything)
Personally, the sounds used was all pretty good....anno...I don't really know what else to say.

Character: 9
Both of the protagonists as I mentioned before are very likeable characters. Also, they play off each other very well which gives them a life like and relate-able feature. Furthermore, with good character development which keeps the anime interesting and fast paced I award this section a total score of 9.

Enjoyment and Overall Score: 9
Thus, in all this was a wonderful anime which was well written, directed, drawn and thought out. If you haven't already seen this, I highly recommend you drop everything you're doing right now and watch it. enjoy! :)

That ending made me feel some kinda way. And not a good way. Spoilers ahead;

The uke still called him a homo as a slur, didn't learn anything, and the seme that raped him still thinks with his dick and only cared about sex with him. I really didn't like this one. I thought if there was SOME character growth after that rape scene last episode, I'd understand the hype around the show and how some people managed to watch it 5 times. But right now, all I'm thinking is that I wasted an hour of my life on trash that gives yaoi anime a ... bad name.

Sure, the sex scenes were hot, but I felt uncomfortable at them. Especially when their first time was a scene where the uke kept begging him to stop because he couldn't physically push him away.

Can we PLEASE just have a consensual sex scene animated without it needing to be some convoluted rape plot for once with this genre?????

As a side note, I'm not even one of those "picky" yaoi fans. I often recognize, "it's not real" and don't care. I love Super Lovers. I love Omegaverse. I loved Killing Stalking. If there's a reason for it, I'm on board.

But this was literally just "I'm raping a dude who drank too much and got horny, and then I'm going to sulk until I come back and he lets me do it more. All the while letting him call me a homo and using the fact I'll leave school as blackmail if he doesn't."

This entire show would've been 1000% better if they'd just spoken and learned something from it all. That's it. I would've forgiven the rape just like the uke did if either of them learned ANYTHING from the entire show.
