Soul Link is a mediocre Sci-fi, Action, Romance that has an incredibly boring storyline, with some "pants-on-head" retarded developments. This is an anime based of a visual novel and after seeing countless anime series like this one, I was surprised when I could find absolutely nothing positive to say about it.

Soul Link starts normally enough. A group of young fresh military space cadets arrive at a space station, for some intense space training, oh and did I mention... they're in space. Well no matter how many times I told myself "they're in the vast depths of space", I just don't get the same feeling that read more

Soul link is a simple sci-fi, action thriller with a hint of drama. It's not a show that can please you but it can amuse you a bit. It's perfect for time killing just like playing shougi, checkers, and the like.
*WARNING* - only watch it when you have nothing else to do.

It has a story, but it's pretty much not interesting. The way it was presented gives you a feeling of curiosity at times so as to give you a bit of patience and interest to finish watching the series. It also has a bit of fanservice to tease affected viewers.

The art is the only read more

This review might not help since there really isn't a lot to say about this anime and I had to complain.

If you've been watching anime for some time, Soul Link will be incredibly cringe worthy and so embarrassing that you'll find it painful to watch.

Story (4/10) - The story was pretty unimpressive, if you're hoping to find a good story and then come across Soul Link, run in the other direction because the characters are so annoying and they surround the story with so much bs that it's reallly not worth it at all. To be fair though, the story did save this anime read more

I'm sorry! This review as a warning will NOT be helpful to you, but I did want to add in simple terms what you may find in this empty hole of a show.

I tried watching the first episode, I can sit through almost anything but this was so pointless I canceled it half way through viewing. How am I writing a review only half way through the first show?

1- No matter what, you'll see the quality of the art. It stunk, the animation of the smoke leaving the jet / space shuttle thing didn't even line up right, and the coloring was read more

School in space that is attacked by terrorists.
It has the similar warish feel about it and the romance is also very similar. The only main difference is that Soul Link is in Space and Library Wars was taken place on earth.
Both series contain sci-fi themes and a strange atmosphere.

Both series has romance, comedy, drama, and action. It also has emotional and tense moments between the main characters involving their relationships, past emotions, and present circumstances.

Both series also feature battles in outer space bringing out sci-fiction to its finest form.
Although the theme and story are different, these two series contain the sci-fiction and mecha theme that revolves both series. Also plenty of drama, action, and romance throughout.
If you like battle of wits and have plans that spans over time; these two have it! Both involve the main characters devising strategies and to out do the other opponent.
