Both are late 90s/early 00s toei magical girl shows with similar chibi-esque character designs, and both shows have a younger girl main character who help a witch with the shop they run. Most importantly, both shows build a sense of community throughout their entire runs which makes the towns they take place in come alive.

It's not about magic since just only one show here is mahou shoujo. But it's about adorable girls solving problems and unveiling mysteries in a friendly and charming town. A long-lasting feel-good experience.

If you're looking for a rarely known, fun to watch and enjoyable Mahou Shoujo anime, you've just found two. "Fushigi Mahou Fun Fun Pharmacy" is a story about Popuri, an ordinary girl, who one day stumbles upon a Witch's shop and later learns how to use magic. "Ultra Maniac" is about Nina, a witch drop-out from magic kingdom, who moves to the human world in order to improve her magic skill.

as the popular (?) review for Fun Fun Pharmacy mentioned, both Tamako Market and Fun Fun Pharmacy are about the main girl's interaction with market people and the lively market atmosphere, both shows are kinda episodic too
