Both feature fights with monsters who are stored in small balls
Both throw balls out to summon monsters lol
Okay most people have already recommend both of these but it was something else I noticed that was similar again both throw balls that have monsters in them.
Chars fight each other using monsters who they summon using balls.

Main characters get drawn into another world and become the saviors.
STXW is the better of the two, minus (or plus ;P) the man love undertones... They both travel to another world, and fight for various sides and various wars to save said world...
Both anime are centered around characters dragged into pararel world, where they have special and very rare powers

They have very similar storylines. They are both about different worlds in a war, both have a lot of adventure. Make new friends and more. I think they both are great anime.
Kiba is a grown up version of MAR Heaven and the concepts are virtually the same. A guy (Ginta/Kiba) wants to get away from their own boring world and they manage to get sucked into another one, where they find out they're super powerful because they have ARMs/shards. Kiba's definitely targeted at an older audience though.

Both are different world shounen type titles. Someone who has like one on the two will definitely enjoy the other suggestion^^
The main character reminds me alot of Ed ( the red jacket). Also, Ed's role in the movie is similar to the main character's role in the anime.

Well, though the plots are quite different, i found the main idea in both animes very similar
Cool lead guy forced into a new setting and affected by a series of weird events
forced to adjust in the new surroundings, learning of new worlds, new cultures, new kingdoms and rules
Both animes are filled with action scenes, many cool fights, a lot of running away
Both Thor and Zed are pretty much alike in their stubborn~childish yet cool kinda way
they both become pretty famous upon appearing in the new world
little by little they both become strong in their fields, and rise to the top, where their ultimate goal dwells
Plus, they both have cool gray hair~
If you liked Kiba, give Jyu Oh Sei a shot [and vise verse]
Kiba and Jyu Oh Sei have a smiliar feeling to the anime. Both main characters are also a little bit a like, stubborn and macho. Then both female leads remind me of each other. They are both great adventure anime's, with hints of romance and lots of action. Both are really great anime that don't get the attention they deserve. Although Jyu Oh Sei is only 11 episodes, and Kiba is about 50, if you liked one of the two, you will deffinetly like the other!

It is set in a slightly different world. I wouldn't call the settings similar but the plot certainly is. Kiba is about a guy named Zed (Allen) who excels everyone's expectations with his fabulous powers (Spirit Shads / Innocence). He is quite an outcast but wants to protect his friends dearly. He has to stop the world from being over-ruled by Hugh (Earl) and his crew (Noahs). They are similar in pace because both animes seem to drag a certain parts and flourish at others.
I would recommend this anime to anyone who is into dark plots and action packed animes.
when i watch D.Gray-Man it reminds me of this series

Main characters of both anime are pulled into another, somwhat mirror universe, where whey become instrumental to save it.
Both have absolutely beautiful artwork. It's so fluid and brings tears to my eyes every time i see it (almost not trying to be dramatic or anything)

Both anime are about kid/teenager that travels to paralel world, where they have special power (summoning spirit in Kiba, piloting a mecha in Monogatari) that only few people have. Both are also quickly cought in various conflicts.

You probably think, why they look like?? Right now I will tell you ^ __ ^
First, we see the "Trigun" Vachs guy with an interesting character, it all began very funny, but then in the middle, telling why he has such strength and such a "price", etc.
I guarantee involute plot and interest in this product!
Now "Kiba" ...
Many compare it to Pokemon - this is nonsense, not listen to them, actually anime based on who the Zed where he got such power and who is Amil Gaul, yet become clear that his mother was crazy hospital, etc. ...
These anime are very interesting, after watching identified many secrets and is actually jealous of imagination and ideas of the authors of the product ^ _ ^
[RUS]

Both talks about two best friends being thrown into a different world apart from their current. However, for fushigi yuugi its more towards shoujo filled with tint of romance while kiba is more towards shounen that is filled with action.

I am the fan of fantasy. The Kiba is with this species one of the best things, what I saw.The very good plot, interesting conception of world inflict it that was can oneself in this anime to plunge totally.

A guy is reluctantly pushed into a different setting. He then rises to become a saviour and passionately fights for what he believes in.

Both shows deal with political complexities, conquest, and war. While Code Geass takes place in an alternate Earth time line, Kiba deals with another world entirely.
Kiba has Spirits rather than the mecha of Code Geass and the plots are quite different. Geass has more comic relief and variety of mood but both share underlying supernatural mysteries, tragic events, and dark themes.
Both shows also have a set of friends (Lelouch and Suzaku in Geass, Zed and Noa in Kiba) who get caught up in different affiliations and have to struggle with their ideals and values versus friendship and loyalty.

kiba and one piece share a common subject; freedom. In one piece this subject is bond with pirates. In kiba it is bond with a future world and a different world and eventually spirits. Roia has big boobs and so does nami, says enough I think
