Nanako Kaitai Shinsho

This anime was...ok i guess. Not much to do but enjoy the fan-service of boob-flouncing apparent in every episode. Hardly any plot development, and the supposedly comedic scenes were absolutely shallow.

If you're looking for a series that has nothing but panty-shots, huge breasts, and air-headed girls - this is what you should watch.

Otherwise, it's best not to torture yourself.

Okay what can I say I watched this series on a whim and I'll never watch it again by the grace of the almighty.
Story- Nothing much here no real substance nothing that even jumps out of you it's really just a bunch of scenarios thrown together then given an ending to justify why you watched.
Art- It's old timey okay give it a break yes I could've gone without the panty shots yes I could have gone without the bouncing boobs but for some guys it may just be their only reason to watch it.
Sound- ...yeah I couldn't find the japanese voice acting version so I ... had the pleasure of hearing it in english... *shudders* so at best I can only judge this series by background music, opening, and closing which I didn't find all that impressive.
Character- So character development was good I mean things could've been a lot better but I'm glad they at least made an attempt at it.
Enjoyment- I would never watch this series again and I mean never it just is too choppy for me to do that.
Overall- I can't with full certainty recommend this anime to anybody this is one of those things where the sole factor in deciding should be do you have the courage to pick this one up and finish it.

An amazing piece of film that is there to break the mold of what film very much is, Amazing Nurse Nanako (or Nanako Kaitai Shinsho as it is also called) does away with all constraints of what limits a normal production.

It goes about this by completely doing away with any semblance of a "Plot". Now this maybe awful how can a show not have a plot and still be well made you say, well the absence of any sort of coherent plot is there to show us that our lives are as nearly as unstructured as a story with no plot and is there ... to serve as commentary on why we need to stop making our art so structured and simple to reflect our chaotic lives and lifestyles.

Now the art of this show is hideous to the untrained eye and makes you want to gouge your eyes out if you are a simpleton not understanding the underlying themes of Amazing Nurse Nanako, but you have to understand why the art looks like you just threw fecal matter into a blender. The art of Nanako forces you to see everything in a new light, it shows you that indeed everything around you is gross and horrifying any you shouldn't be going to the world of animation to fix your issues or to escape the disgusting world around you.

The sound serves a similar purpose to the visuals and art of Nanako, by making you want to get a rapid fire shotgun repeatedly fired next to your ear so your eardrums melt away to the point that your not deaf but rather hearing negative sound. This capitalizes on the point that not everything you hear in life will be pleasant and most of it will be painful screeching.

The Characters in Amazing Nurse Nanako are truly outstanding by making them all 2 dimensional, flat, and not giving them any sort of development Nanko displays that in heart we as humans never change and will continue to follow our base instincts.

In closing Amazing Nurse Nanako talks about the very fundamentals on what it is to be human with a revolutionizing story, art, and sound direction that can only be Nanako for anyone considering watching this anime i highly recommend using your time to instead find any sort of fire arm or rope and just end it all because this anime proves why were are completely doomed as a species.

10/10 would watch again.

This was an endurance test.....This anime is just bad.....Purely awful...

To get a nitpick out of the way.....Why is it called 'Amazing Nurse Nanako'?
She's not a nurse and she sure as hell isn't amazing….Nanako is a very incompetent maid that sucks at doing her job.

One thing I really hated was the sound.
... Both dubs are pretty bad, the English Dub obviously being the worst!
I had to watch each episode a day apart to recover from Nanako's repetitive and extremely annoying whining.
The Japanese dub isn't that bad, but with both dubs it seemed like the actor's voice didn't match well with the characters.

The art was okay, the CGI was gross to look at...the 2D animation was okay, it's not as bad as some titles from the time.

The Story.....it's all over the place and the fanservice comes out of nowhere....like when Nanako needed to lighten the load on the plane....

Not to mention the ending was.....it came out of absolutely no where like it was slapped on....

This anime is the product of two people in the anime industry who work on anime with polar opposite genres coming together to make a single show...

Stay away from this anime...….

How should I describe this anime. I don't like the main story. Also I like Nanako character design but I don't like her act. She isn't a amazing and even not a nurse. Just a maid that she sucks at DR. Kyouji's general hospital. I don't like that HE threating Nanako so badly.
But still I like Kyouji's style. Other characters are kinda boring. Not interesting except for Satsuki. After I watched I realized that she never treats a patiens and there's no patiens. Just like weird experiments...kinda...weird....

The animations are kinda goofy and little bit weird. Contains some nudity but I can't stand it. Reason that ... Nanako is aged 16 years old. Which is child pornography...eww...But the cyborg themes are kinda cool. I mean Nanako doesn't want to become a cyborg but I get it. I think she rather quit her job and moving on all by herself...even fanservice was not interested either...

As I was watching this oldie, a very basic question came to me. WHY IS NANAKO CALLED A NURSE??? I mean, sure, the setting is a hospital but Nanako NEVER TREATS A PATIENT. There aren’t even patients there; it’s just some front for experiments on genetics. In fact, the show is better called Amazing Maid Nanako, as she is mostly dressed as such. The rest of the time she is wearing some gymnastics or battle suit… or doesn’t wear anything.

Another thing is how the story itself has absolutely nothing to do with hospitals. It is closer to some scatterbrain ecchi comedy with sci-fi / thriller ... overtones. Which I guess makes it somewhat interesting. One moment we have this scientific explanation around DNA and the next Nanako is fooling around half-naked.

The story is only 6 episodes and the interest comes only at the fifth, where we learn of the true past of Nanako. But even then, all that don’t seem to matter much as the actual plot of the anime is completely nonessential. It is 90% random gags and slapstick with ecchi, before some spooky scientific dialogue pops up and some alien mutant thing appears to chase Nanako around. And she is no fighter either; she always needs the help of some guy to save her, and she ends up in her undies and on his lap all the time. So although there are scenes of horror and occult, they all go to waste because of the brainless ecchi comedy.

As far as characters go, none is interesting or that developed and practically it is only Nanako and the blondie scientist who get fleshed out when the flashback comes up. That gives you something to bother about, but doesn’t excuse how the rest of the story and the plot are barely trying to offer something good. And no, I don’t consider the ecchi aspect to count as good.

The production values are not good either as the animation is highly jerky and the music themes completely forgettable. Heck, most of the time there hardly appears to be BGM in general. Not only that, but Nanako ends up being a very irritating character. She is clumsy and naive, constantly cries, shouts, and runs around in her underwear and comes off as irritating instead of sympathetic or sexy. Plus, her boobies jiggle so silly, it even stops being erotic after awhile. She is better suited for some rape hentai or something. As for blondie hunk, he is just there to keep the plot going; we hardly get enough to care about him.

This is a weird short anime. It is not really enjoyable but the weird mix of ecchi with horror and mystery make it somewhat memorable. So is the fact that there was supposed to be a nurse somewhere in here…
