The Saiyans are coming! The last survivors of a cruel, warrior race, these ruthless villains have carved a path of destruction across the galaxy, and now they have set their sights on Earth! They will stop at nothing until they have the wish-granting powers of the seven magic Dragon Balls for their very own.

Gokuu along with old and new allies defends the earth against an assortment of villains ranging from intergalactic space fighters and conquerors, unnaturally powerful androids and near indestructible magical creatures.

While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Gokuu through childhood into adulthood, Dragon Ball Z is a continuation of his adulthood life, but at the same time parallels the maturation of his son, Gohan, as well as other characters from Dragon Ball and more.

Dont get me wrong. The story is repetetive, the art is outdated and honestly ugly, the sound is in bad quality and it doesnt have much music. The quality of this anime doesnt stand a chance to amazing animes like FMA, Code Geass and many others. But this anime is still legendary.
This was the father of anime, it was one of the first animes that really got popular in the western culture. Its maybe the most popular anime ever. And without it, we might not have all the amazing animes we have today. I mean, its from the 80s! many people remember DBZ read more

If anyone knows of Shounen anime Then there is No doubt
anyone would of course heard of Dragon ball Z which I'm obviously sure
most people who are reading this review have and are not hopefully sleeping under a rock.

Its One of the earliest shounen animes along side others. The show itself has probably had
one of the Biggest impact of a shounen anime I've seen in my lifetime growing up besides the likes of attack on titan, Fullmetal Alchemist and Death note and yet till this day
it has many viewers still checking it out. some have finish seeing it, some re watch it, some read more

If you're like me, the name Dragon Ball Z gets your blood boiling, your erection throbbing, and your bicep muscles pulsating. Contrary to popular belief, this is not because of some terrible medical condition or permanent damage from anabolic steroids. This is because the amount of manliness contained in just one episode of DBZ is enough to cause penis growth, beard hair, and possibly cancer. Make no mistake, this is not an anime for children or people on high blood pressure medication. Like Hank McCoy's premature big-foot vaccine, watching Dragon Ball Z is guaranteed to turn you into a badass gorilla with the strength of read more

Dragon Ball Z is epic. No doubt this is one of the most popular series that helped spread the art of anime in the world.

The original Dragon Ball was fun, but in DBZ the characters have grown and the maturity is felt throughout the whole series. From the incredible Sayian Saga, an important Frieza Saga and the entertaining Cell Saga to the Grand Finale - Buu Saga, DBZ does not disappoint. It's not all about the fighting, although the series have probably 4-5 battles that should be written in the anime history books. I was always astonished by the character development which is amazing read more

Anime: Yuu☆Yuu☆Hakusho
Both are shônen with really strong characters, spiritual powers and vast increments of power.

Anime: One Piece
Main characters are similar, lots of action, fighting and comedy. Both series place importance on teamwork and friendship. Interesting character designs, same animation studio.

Anime: Naruto: Shippuuden
If you like Dragon Ball Z you'll love Naruto Shippuden. These are both the second part of amazing series. There both more high action to their original and go into further depth with the characters and story. The one part I like about Naruto Shippuden over DBZ is that the main character, even though may not get as much screen time, has a tremendously better backround and character development.

A lot of humour, great battles, many many techniques, characters, etc. All these are features from both Animes. The Protagonist - A smiling guy, dressed on orange/red and blue. Naruto in blond. Goku can be blond. Both are great Anime with great batlles and many funny moments.
