The heroine, Tsukiko, enrolled to a school that was recently changed from all-boys school to co-ed. Since the area where the school is conveniently rural and the rather exclusive curriculums the school has, up until now the heroine is the only one female who enrolled to the school.

In Starry Sky, the 13 constellations of the Zodiac are personified into handsome young men. The anime will be directed by Kiyomo Sayaka who worked with Vampire Knight. Similar to Hetalia - Axis Powers, Starry Sky's anime will be distributed through the website and other means.

Having played and completed every main visual novel available (at the time of writing this review) of the Starry☆Sky (I'll shorten it to S☆S from here on out) series, I was looking forward to the anime adaptation... very much so. Given that video-game-to-anime/live action adaptations tend to go awry, I set the bar of my expectations relatively low. However, in spite of my low expectations, I still managed to be significantly disappointed. I'm of the opinion that the anime was purposed more as an advertising medium rather than an attempt at an established anime adaptation.

The long and short of my review is this: If you read more

This is a review on the first 6 episodes of the Starry Sky ONA. Each episode is 10 minutes. Short, but does it work. Sometimes yes, sometimes no...

Story: 6

It's not the best. If you've read the synopsis, you can tell that this will end up being a rather cheap series. A harem of 12 guys almost always leads to a cheesy disaster. Surprisingly, it's not as bad as one would think. There is always a laidback atmosphere to Starry Sky making it a easygoing slice-of-life series. Albeit boring. My favorite arc so far is Tsubasa's arc. It portrayed him well and made use of two read more

At first, I was surprised that one episode only lasts for 10-11 mins. Anyways, the overall plot and everything else was so-so. Especially some of the character stories were left hanging. The graphics was not bad at all but character movements were very limited. I would totally recommend this if you're totally bored and have watched all the great anime out there or if you have no choice but to watch it because you have already downloaded/bought it, which was the case for me :|. If I would rate this anime, I would give it an average of 5. Its not that I dislike it, read more

This review is based upon the first episode of Starry☆Sky. Ratings are subject to change.

Studio DEEN once asked: "Could you tell me you love my real self?" The answer to that is currently a resounding NO. Granted, it is indeed hard to make a good anime when 95% of the budget is allocated to sound production, but they could at least try.

Story - 4

Really - it's based off a visual novel series. It's not terrible, but it's leaps and bounds from being considered original. Tsukiko Yahisa is the only female student at a previously all-male school. There's really not much to be said in this read more

Exactly the same except the setting is more exciting with Uta no Prince Sama because of the idol settings.
Both series have somehow a strong zodiac-related theme in the story.
Fruits Basket introduce characters as part of the Chinese Zodiac, while Starry Sky introduce characters representing each of the Zodiac Star Sign.
Is quite interesting seeing once again an anime facing this special thing which is the zodiac.

Still, both anime are shoujo genre and reverse harem: a main lead girl surrounded by handsome amazing boys.

And both series share a very sweet atmosphere ♥
If you liked one of those, i highly advice to watch the other too ;3
The main heroine from both series meets 13 guys. They have fallen in love with her. Both series are reverse harem. One series is a full length series while the other is an ONA: the length of the series is 15 minutes episode
Cute guys in a high school setting who happen to have their lives revolve around one girl.
both these animes have revers harem where the main girl is surrounded by alot of guys they both have romance in them and the art looks the same :)
Both of them are reverse harem.
