Haiyoru! Nyaruani

Both consist of short videos with a hilarious anime girl as the protagonist. 

Even if they have a completely different atmosphere ("Haiyoru! Nyaruani" being in the love side, while "Jashin-chan Dropkick" is more in the "sarcastic" side), they both have a humor hanging on the fourth wall and blood (Yeah, dark comedy) They also get an artstyle that can make the jokes more hilarious and clever, due to the way it's presented 

Both are comedies with short episodes, the main heroines acts the same. 

Both are otaku comedies based upon light novels. Very similar style of humor. 

Supernatural flavored lovey-dovey-bishoujo-fanfare anime. Sci-fi element is weak and less worthy of mentioning than average Star Trek. Anime with hot chick, slight of life, comedy and mild sex sell. With some extraterrestrial topping. Possibly mark the era that the almighty Love Hina should stop taking place in realistic setting.
