Both celebrate the anniversary (10 years and 30 years respectively) of the Gundam franchise, by showing off some of the various mechs from the anime up to the point each was made.

Both are short little fan service "tech demos."
They are a great two minutes of enjoyment for fans of the series who enjoy the mecha aspects being flaunted.

Don't expect any character development though. You won't even see a pilot here.
