Yawara was the first sports anime I watched...well, it was the first I started watching anyways.
The romantic relationships and such weren't too great, but the personality of the main charaters (Yawara espically) were pretty good. The judo fights were excelet as well.
Being from the past, it didn't really have the most visually appealing art, and the sound wasn't too good enough, though.

What I have watched was very enjoyable to watch...but then the unthinkable happened...it was regrettably dropped by the subbers :( I wish I could've seen how it ends, but oh well I suppose, maybe some day it will be in my dvd collection...
