After experiencing the numerous trials encountered on her journey, Reina has grown as a warrior. Determined to take part in the Queen's Blade tournament, she arrives at the capital city Gainos, where Queen Aldora awaits. There gathers a number of beautiful warriors who, like Reina, are there for the Queen's Blade.

Amongst them is Reina's sister, Claudette, determined to restore the glory of House Vance; Tomoe and Shizuka, who are both fighting for their homeland of Hinomoto; Nanael who has been ordered to participate by the Archangel; and the subordinates of the Marshland Witch.

All these beautiful fighters who gather in Gainos have been one objective, to win through the Queen's Blade, the tournament to select the strongest, most beautiful queen. Who would ascend to that glorious throne? That can only be determined via battle.

So Queen's Blade is back with a second season. If you watched the horrendous first season, you're probably doubting whether you should start Gyokuza wo Tsugu Mono or not. Even I have to admit that I put off starting this season because I didn't want to sit through another 12 episodes of a jumbled up story that relied purely on fanservice. Thankfully, this is nothing like season 1. Pretty much the only similarity between season 1 and season 2 is that there's still an insane amount of fanservice. But Queen's Blade now isn't an anime that you want to laugh at for being so bad. read more

Instead of wasting both your time and mine with a long winded review that is totally unnecessary for this series, I'll save you the trouble by being as blunt as possible. No matter how you dress it, no matter what story is presented, Queen's Blade exist for one purpose and one purpose only.. And that's to simply sell fanservice.

The fanservice serves no context to the show and is only there for otaku pandering. This renders all the characters to be nothing more than over sexualized walking dolls that come in varies forms of fetishes. Nothing can be taken seriously if every fight ends with read more

I agree that watching the first season of Queen's Blade may not be of much help while considering watching season 2; however, it is actually much better than one may have expected! Granted, there are LOTS and LOTS of fanservice (weird camera angles, jumping breasts, ripped clothes and suggestive poses), but if you don't mind fanservice (or if you even embrace it!) and give season 2 a chance, you'll see there are a lot of things that makes it worth to watch.

The story continues right where it was left on season 1 and the Queen's Blade tournament finally gets to its final stages. There read more

Queen's Blade is one of those series that is often rated too low because it has too many tits flashing in your face. Well I liked it, and not for the tits either.

The bad. Of course I didn't like the massive amount of fan service in the anime, to the point that some people call this soft porn. Which I can understand.

The good. Everything is over looked in this series because because people can't pull their hands off their dicks for long enough to watch and listen to what was going on. As I said, the amount of fan service is stupid, but Arms didn't read more

Anime: Bikini Warriors
In both series, the female armour distinguishes their character and brings out their inner powers. However, in Queen's blade there is more ecchi-ness and fantasy in it. The scantly clad armour is ripped off more during battles, revealing more eye candy and nude women. Queen's blade also has a more expanded plot and a clear goal in sight

Anime: Highschool of the Dead
Similar boobs proportions, battle bullet time, except in Queen Blade, they use projectiles woods.
Party hard.

Anime: Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny
Having women, well-versed with martial arts, settle disputes through challenging one on one battle tournaments and unforeseen schemes make both titles interchangeable.

Anime: Grenadier: Hohoemi no Senshi
'Grenadier' and the 'Queen's Blade' series both offer busty female leads in a loose action/adventure story plot. 'Grenadier' is has a more story to ecchi ratio, while 'Queen's Blade' has a more ecchi to story ratio.

Anime: Eiken: Eikenbu yori Ai wo Komete
Both are series known for the breast-service, but also quite good at butt-service.

Anime: Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica
Both are bad ecchi fantasy fighting/battle series.
