SynopsisJunpei Kousaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizou-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family's own ill-tempered cat, Nyamusasu. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into a cat himself.

**Writing this review as of watching 4 of the 12 episodes and having NOT read the manga. I'll update the review when the series finishes.
Story:
This is actually very unique and works out well. The summary MAL gives is pretty corny, and that is basically the start of it, but it plays out really well regardless. Kousaka Junpei is your main character here. He is allergic to cats, even though his family loves them. So, against all logic, his family torments him with his allergies by having cats in the house and makes fun of his allergies (nice family right?). Anyways... he breaks a cat statue and gets cursed ~ he must fulfill 100 requests from cats otherwise he will turn into a cat himself (and having allergies to cats, he would then be allergic to himself!). And... to do so, he has been bestowed with the power to hear the thoughts of cats.
So thats the setup. A guy with a cat allergy, must do random chores for cats. Very original, and allows for a lot of hilarious episodes.
Art:
Well, the art is pretty average for these times. It doesnt necessarily cut corners anywhere, but it doesnt go out of its way at the same time. No complaints anyways.
Sound:
Again, pretty average overall. No complaints about it though.
Character:
Theres a whole slew of interesting characters... including cat personalities =)
I'll list a few here...
-Kousaka: The main hero has a very sharp mouth and is often forced into situations against his will (helping out the cats)
-Kaede: Kousaka's love interest, loves cats, seems to have a air-headed personality but actually got the top score on entrance exams. Also really admires gangsters (yakuza)
-Sumiyoshi: Kousaka's big breasted (they actually flaunt this a lot) childhood friend. Her first appearance is very... bizarre... but she changes. Has a very short temper and a dominating personality.
-Nyamsus: Kousaka's family cat. Really fat and often toys with Kousaka knowing very well of his allergies.
Enjoyment:
The series is hilarious, plain and simple. And going further, its completely unique. Both big ++!
Overall
This is your comedy harem genre... if you're a fan of it, you will likely enjoy this one. There's plenty of interesting catventures (oh yes, i went there) and your good ol' wholesome love polygon developing in the midst of it. So far, id rate this in the leagues of Seto no Hanayome and Kannagi - meaning its actually good! read more

A very good anime although when i first saw it i was certain it would not appeal to the average person. Turns out I loved it and most likely so will everyone else. Has a good story but i'm not gonna spoil it in case you havent read it. If you like to laugh then this anime will have you laughing quite a bit. Although i wouldnt necesarily call it a comedy anime it certainly seems to have a good bit of it. All in all it's good enough to satisfy the girl that's in love with dolls and the guy that likes to drive cars. In other words it's a universal anime. read more

The drawing style in some scenes are similar between these series (the funny scenes), also the way they make the jokes.
The similarity between these two series exist not only in genres (comedy, romance, and parody), but also in execution.
Very similar, but it is not a rip-off at all
The drawing style and comedy are very similar, and both are hilarious.

The main characters of both shows junpei and touma are extremely similar:
-They are both extremely unlucky (which leads to a lot of humor)
-Both main characters are laid back and fairly "normal" high school students
-They both have unusual abilities that almost always get them into unwanted trouble
