Both are about a human that get surrounded by a harem of beautiful female monsters. Also the women are the ones that are fighting in both instead of the man.
Rosario + Vampire is also Harem, not as ecchi as omamori, but it's fun and has a lot of monsters and whatnot...
rosario vampire has the taste of monsters of all kinds while omamori himari are only are only the same monsters. but the general feel is the same except the main guy in rosario vampire acts normal.... for a human surrounded by monsters
Has harems that are largely made up of monsters and other non humans, but still cute!
They are both ecchi and take place mostly in school, both main chars are female and in one they fight monsters and in the other vampires. They are both funny and both of the guys in both series end up with alot of girls around him.
well omamori himari is almost the same as rosario + vampire because you have a lucky bastard getting all the chicks and the chicks mostly are the ones fighting for him, oh yeah and is human and all the girls are monsters
Both Animes are about a weak and helpless human boy being protected by a bunch of girls, or should i say Monsters who fall in loves with the boy. Both anime has many things that are similar for example: Both Are Harems, Ecchi, and many more. another thing that is similar is that at the end of the anime, the human boy protected the the girl.
Both series are categorized as ecchi and harem with the main story dealing with the protagonist beginning as a weak individual who gradually becomes more powerful in order to protect their friends. I also found both series to be peppered with bits of comedy to break up any serious overtones and greatly enjoyed the character development throughout the series.

Story line, plot, magical stuff, haremish.
Ecchi, fights and beautiful female ayakashi.
Both are based around girls with magic powers, bad guys that switch sides, and a boy with hidden powers.
-harems where there are beautiful girls with super powers
-male character who's the descendant of a family somehow connected with spirits & gods
-main female characters have cat ears & tails
Both are about deitys who one day appear in the MCs life and both MCs have a supernatural past and both series have some action in them.

Both are supernatural with alot of girls, ecchi and comedy.
Well, if you like ecchi, fan-service, supernatural, fighting, boobs, and all the rest of that stuff, then considering watching both of these series. It has a storyline and the main guy has a lot of girls chasing after him as result of his kindness, courage, and strength.
Both are about a strong girl that meets with the weak guy that slowly gets stronger.
Both Are Love-Romance Animes. With Echi Stuff. Sexual stuff. Comedy. A male proganist and female. Lust. And the girls around what the male proganist.

Both are ecchi/harem anime with high school male protagonists surrounded by supernatural (Omamori Himari)/alien (Asobi ni iku yo) females. Both anime also have some fights.
Nekomimi girl suddenly appear to main character life and change it into a danger life: being chased, killed.
Both are harem/ecchi/action and have a lot of fanservice ^^
The female protagonists of the two anime have cat-like traits. Both are harem anime series.
Himaria a cat girl protects Yuuto because this is something she has promised to do. She falls in love with him as do other girls along the way. Where Asobi ni Iku yo! Eris is a cat alien and falls in love with a boy on earth, she starts to live with him and protect him. Other girls fall in love with him or were in love with him. Very similar stories.

Both have nearly completeley useless male protagonists, both are Harem, both have an animal-like person....
Both anime are about powerfull supernatural being trying to seduce human. Both are also primary comedy/ecchi.
Both feature a main boy protagonist being constantly under the affection from a pseudo-animal-girl. Chizuru has her fox form while Himari has her cat form.
Both are ecchi Harems. In Kanokon the girl is a fox and in Omamori Himari the girl is a cat.

main character allergic to cats
ah ah ahceww
Nyan Koi! is about kousaka Junpei who is a 2 second year high shcool student who is allergic to cats. one day on his way home he accidentaly breaks the head of the cat jizou( a monument ) and get cursed and thus can talk to cats and understand them. to get rid if the curse he now has to help 100 cats. and funny stuff happens along.
Omamori is about a high school studen to who also is allergic to cats. though the history is a bit different since its a cat eared/tailed woman who shows up and swore to protect him.
The main character of both animes are allergic to cats. unfortunately they both have to be around girls with cats.

fighting, magics, girls, haremish, both are quite boring tbh.
A very kind guy and a cute, nice but slightly stubborn girl join forces to deal with supernatural threats and problems.
Similarities:
Same school, action, romance, ecchi and harem genre.
Same situation where the MC has no idea who he is.
Same situation where most of the harem would be living in the MC's house.
Dissimilarities:
One has an extra, mecha, sci-fi genre, while the other has supernatural as its extra genre.
The same harem, romance, shouojo, action and fantasy genre, except one has supernatural as its extra genre, while the other is more on Sci-fi.

Similarities:
Both have the same school, magic, supernatural and ecchi genres.
Both muchachos (male lead) have childhood friends who literally takes care of them.
Both have the same situation where the a mysterious magical girl approaches the muchacho (male lead).
Both have the same members of the muchacho's harem whom would at first be the enemy before warming up to the muchacho.
Dissimilarities:
The chiquita (female lead) in one anime is a tsundere while the other chiquita (female lead) from another anime is a tease.
The chiquita (female lead) in one anime treats the muchacho (male lead) like shit, while the other chiquita from another anime treats the muchacho (male lead) as her master.
The childhood friend in one anime is sweet, caring and has big bouncing melons, while the childhood friend from another anime is also caring towards the muchacho but always displays jealously and has pancakes.
The chiquita (female lead) in one anime relies on the muchacho for an extra boost of power when fighting or using her magic, while in the other anime the chiquita (female lead) may not rely on his master when she's protecting him, but she does depend on him to keep herself in check.
Well, if fan service is a term you're looking for, then look no further. Omamori Hinamori and Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai has tons of that. But not only that, they have some other similarities in the series as well:
Both the main protagonist in the series has a strong sense of justice and wishing to help others despite the dangers that awaits them.
Both main protagonists has their worlds changed completely after meeting the main female character of the series.
There is a childhood girl in both series that has known the main protagonist for awhile and has feelings for him.
There is ecchi, action, drama, comedy, as well as some emotional moments in both series.
Both series also takes places at a school setting that occasionally gets involved with some of the conflicts of the supernatural.

Both are about a weak willed man who get surround by beautiful big chested women.
Both are ecchi to a great extent. For those who have watched To-Love-Ru, I'd recommend Omamori Himari next, or vice-versa. Be warned, not for those who faints at the sight of ecchi stuffs.
Both have the swordmanship and Hirakawa, Daisuke as VA for the main protagonist.
What makes it similar is that; both male characters have female warriors who go berserk when something happens to their masters,both male characters never expect to have them (female warriors) in the first place, both female warrior shared a kiss with their masters. And, as in any encchi thing, there are a couple of panty shots.
Both have a unexpected Plot Twist
A great Mix of Ecchi, Drama, Romance and Action
Hard ecchi series with main boy character and a lot of not human girls. In Omamori Himari we have ayakashi, in Sora no Otoshimono Angeloids.
A lot of fights, funny scenes and drama.
Ideal animes to watch during vacations!
Both contain some epic ecchi awesomeness.
A bit perverted to both.. well if you like these kind of things
"I'm so weak, but I want to protect you." to the "I'm such a nice guy" and all the overly exaggerated harem with a samurai girl. They're like the same thing! Though they switched the loli samurai with the big breasted "normal" Girl.
Both shows have plenty of ecchi, a healthy amount of comedy, and some satisfying action scenes.
Omamori Himari has a little more action and To Love-Ru Darkness has more ecchi.
However, ecchi enthusiasts will not be disappointed by either show.

Omamori Himari and Nurarihyon no Mago are both extremely similar. Why? Because they both are based around the theme of ayakashi. In Omamori Himari, the male protagonist Amakawa Yuuto is the one that inherited the Amakawa family's powers, but does not want to be a Demon Slayer. Similarly, in Nurarihyon no Mago, the male protagonist Nura Rikuo is the grandson of Nurarihyon, the supreme commander of the Nura clan (the dominant clan), but does not want to be the one leading the clan.
They both eventually meet a lot of comrades, and accept their fate. Although Nurarihyon no Mago does not have elements of Ecchi or Romance, it is extremely similar, and both talk about the co-existence of both ayakashi and humans. Though Nurarihyon no Mago is generally more serious and has more action.

BOTH contains youkai , sword wielding characters , supernatural, romance and comedy. However omamori himari contains good ecchi
Spirit Girls who fight evil spirits, the main female characters have similar features, and they are both really powerful, and they are always protecting the main male, but the male doesnt want that, he wants to protect her
Both series have action based story with ecchi/comedy scenes. If you enjoyed one, you should try the other one.
They both are comedy, harem.
And they have kind of the same comedy, so if you liked Omamori Himari then you will like Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead much more :)
Ecchi comedies that leave some room for the serious stuff. Additionally, both shows have the same director and fantastic character designs.
Oretachi has more slice of life and psychological elements while Omamori Himari has more action.
like i said it in my other recommendation but this time the main character uses some of his power to fight but it doesnt show that he uses his powes because he rarely uses it
Both are harems with the same male lead voice actor (Daisuke Hirakawa). Omamori Himari is more of a romantic comedy while School Days is more like a soap oprera.
Just like the Anime , Omamori Himari Have 5 Girls , and some thing with Magic .
and Characters are pretty much Similar .
well , as the story progresses new characters come up .
and well they all fallen for the protagonist
and protagonist has a godlike skill xD
Both of them have: Ayakashi, Guardian, Girl with Animal Ears, Mystic Powers
Both have story and character similarities.
Also the genres are very similar.
Both of these shows themes are cat based or in relation to cats in some form or another. These animes have the same characteristics with a heavily fanservice ladened story line. There is no plot at all rather the objective is a mere precursor to douse the anime with more fanservice.
Boy protects girl and girl protects boy... in master-slave relationship!
Both are typical comedy/ecchi/harem show with a lot of ecchi scenes and fan service
The plot is somewhat similar where enemies will end up being a part of the main male's harem
Main character is boy who look not special (but he actually is special) and this boy has a big harem ^^
well, the guy who is loved by all the girls in the anime, although "Omamori Himari" is a lot more echi based than "Hayate no Gotoku"
Both are rather light, funny shows about supernatural powers with an important romantic thread. Both have really nice graphic and are perfect to watch during summer break^ ^
Both has a group of girls protecting the weak male protagonist
These stories are, in fact, pretty much the same:
1.the male leading character has a memory loss caused by some sort of magic interference that occured when he was still a child;
2.there are two girls who share strong bonds with the protagonist since his childhood, yet HE is unaware of it, since he has no memories of that time left;
3.one of the girls is a demon-like creature with big, or rather, HUGE breasts;
4.the other one of the two girls is a tsundere and an only heir to their family business[though in OH it is demon exterminating, and in G-sama N-kun it's a financial corporation], which makes them serious and responsible ;
5.the protagonist has an important promice between him and th tsundere, which he cannot remember till almost very last episode;
6.the surrounding of the three consists of both normall humans and supernatural creatures;
7.of cource, ecchi/fanservice scenes, thousands of them.
the same contents; comedy, echi, martial arts, romance. and all the girls in the anime love the main male characters, and they would give their lives to save him. Also, he is somewhat skilled in martial arts.
