SynopsisOsu!! Karate Bu was popular in Japan, but never really caught on in the West. It is still respected and wildly acclaimed as the best 'delinquent shonen manga', and has influenced many other works, and even been parodied by some (Cromartie High School is a loving parody of this particular series).
The story initially focuses on Matsushita Tadashi, but the supporting character Takagi Yoshiyuki ended up becomign much more popular, so the manga's focus eventually shifted to him becoming the lead character. |

both have martial arts as the main genre, osu is not videogame related and more funnier than fatal fury but still have some swift fightscene´s

Both have the martial arts content WITHOUT too much supernatural powers, osu!! Karate Bu is more comedy orientated than VF, but the way of fighting in both can be somewhat brutal. For many fans Osu! Karate Bu is some sort of an unknown marial arts gem which had good potential to please fighting anime fans.
