Mizugi Kanojo: The Animation

A word of caution - This is Hentai material. If adult content is not what you are looking for, it is best if you redirect yourself elsewhere.

Neither of the reviews I saw when I looked up this title seemed to do it any justice. I wish to correct it.

Mizugi Kanojo is an extremely intriguing Hentai title, and it is very appealing to those who prefer simpler sex. There is a bondage scene, but it isn't heavy, and there is rape, but that isn't too heavy either. There is also a tentacle scene, but it isn't overly important and can easily be skipped if it isn't to your liking.

It starts of like many Hentai titles, you are introduced to your main characters, Mizuho and Hiro. Mizuho is a young girl in her prime, and initially is resistant to Hiro's pervy ways. Hiro is a well-endowed, athletic lad with a thing for keeping Mizuho in shape, and an extremely perverted streak. Of course, as soon as they have swimsuit sex for the first time, Mizuho loves it so much that it becomes nigh a part of their routine. At times one wonders who is the bigger pervert, but when it gets right down to it, this setup makes it all the more enjoyable. Speaking of enjoyment, the artists did an excellent job drawing Mizuho's body being revealed through her tight swimsuit.

Throuhout the series you are introduced to other characters. These characters interact with each other sexually, and their story converges with that of Mizuho and Hiro. These are tangential, and only serve to add a little different pace to the mix.

This is true, of course, until we meat Mizuho's kunoichi (female ninja) ancestor, who is captured by three male ninjas, who deal with her as they will initially, but awaken a sex-hungry beast within her. After this initial encounter we go back to Mizuho and Hiro as if nothing had happened. However, I will tell you that this is a very important encounter.

The third and fourth episodes are where you actually have a plot, something rare for a Hentai anime. It is pretty ridiculous, but the fact that they actually bothered is very nice. Speaking of the story, the ending is pretty hilarious in itself.

The sound, of course, is fairly nice throughout, for what that is worth in a Hentai title. This usually means appealing moans from the girl. This bill is fulfilled.

If you are looking for fodder for your sexual impulses, the first and second episodes serve very well. As for the third and fourth, they do too, but actually have a storyline, so they can be watched like a regular anime. Okay, that's false, but at least it adds extra entertainment.

The final thing to be mentioned is the comedy. Mizugi Kanojo is a very goofy Hentai, providing a good amount of comedy for those who prefer the non-serious stuff.

Overall, Mizugi Kanojo is an excellent Hentai title, and anybody who watches Hentai really should give Mizugi Kanojo a viewing. read more

A rare case where the anime adaptation ends up being better than the original manga. The manga was made up of straight forward stand alone chapters but here, they intertwine with one another to make things more interesting. Other than that the plot is quite simple, just excuses to see sex with swimsuits or tight clothes in general.
The atmosphere is quite humorous and played just for laughs as the characters act like complete idiots (aside from permanently horny) so if you take out the sex you still have an average comedy. There is very little to say about plot or cast; it’s an almost random line of events where horny youths want an excuse to indulge into all sorts of cosplay and slapstick humor. Nothing much although the last episode with the time traveling sex ninjas was way too much.
The animation is ok for this sort of anime. The skin shines like plastic figurines, tight clothes practically hide nothing, the animation has rather crude movements. And it was all censored in the version I watched so good luck finding it without it. I liked the way the characters looked and their facial expressions during sexual and comical moments but they are otherwise quite a standard and passable work.
Sound is also quite nice, the girls had really cute voices and the ending song was actually nice to listen to in this sort of title.
I can’t find much replay value in this. The first time is ok, will make you laugh and horny, but that is pretty much it. Any good comedy is better than it, as is any better animated hentai. So I suggest it as a funny one timer to people with low expectations and not too much exposure to humorous hentai. read more
