The second season of La Corda d'oro has taken a new evolution i'd say. The music was taken down a notch due to only two episodes in the season (which suckz) but this season focuses more on the new characters. As always, as Kaho has done with all the other boy characters in the previous season, she helps Kaji one of the new characters, find his confidence or in other words inpires him to play the viola again. A little bit of romance can be found between Kaji and Kaho, but sorry for the fans of Tsukimori or any other characters, no association for the ...

The first impression I got upon hearing that La Corda D'oro had a secon sequel is that of excitement and I had huge expectations that this sequel will have more Romance and Music plot. Upon watching the first episode, I got the liking on having Aoi Kaji as a new character that will cross on Kahoko's life and her violin. When I reached the part when the new principal chose the 6 concurs (excluding Hino Kahoko) to perform on the ensemble, I got pissed and I also got mad because Hino might be at a lower level than the others but she is the star ...

I loved primo passo and the secondo passo 2 episode special is a HUGE disappointment!! why introduce new characters and give NO screen time to Len and the other guys. It was a waste of time and i would have been way better off not seeing it at all, because it doesnt solve or close anything between any of the characters.

This is my first review. A few spoilers ahead!!

Well, this was... something. After watching Primo Passo, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was expecting a little more from Secondo Passo. I know, they couldn't do much in just 2 episodes, but I really wanted to see more of what we were used to from the first series.
Anyway, let's see what we got.

Story 6/10
It was basically the same as Primo Passo. A guy is going through some stuff and he hears how Kaho's playing her violin and everything seemes to miraculously turn for the best in his life. Well, yep. Don't expect much from this, rather ...

i think la corda d' oro secendo passo was not what i had expected because there are only 2 episodes and i guess you shouldn't get your hopes up because if you've watched the first series then i bet you loved it and i guess if there were more episodes then it would have been great. another thing that i think was not really good was they didnt get really onto the story and and they left many things blank like who Kiriya, Etou is ... and why he's soo rude to kahoko and Kaji, Aoi

La Corda D'oro is my favorite anime I've re-watched first season many times.
after hearing that second season is about to air, I was pretty excited,
"what will happen to kahoko?"
"will she end up with len?"or"who-ends-up-with-who?"
there are alot of questions to ask on what will happen to the second season,
but sadly this season has 2 eps. and it's only focused to the new characters,
Aoi Kaji, Akihiko Kira, and Kiriya Eto, instead focused on the music,

actually it's good, kahoko hasn't cahnged a bit. She still helps out the rest of the characters,
and this may just spark the interest of the fans who are looking for a ...

A bit dissapointed with this, waited ages for a new season and when it finally does come it turns out to be only two episodes, but there could be more episodes coming eventually as Etou says at the end "thats about an appropriate level for me, i think. I'll be counting on you next year, Akihiko-san." so perhaps the new season will have Etou joing Seiso.

La Corda D'Oro ~ secondo passo ~ is the sequel of La Corda D'Oro ~ primo passo~ but I would not say it gave me a very good impression or the same impression as the prequel.

What I found surprising was that the second "season" or sequel was only 2 episodes which is a bit pathetic, I must say...

What I don't Like:
There are only 3 new characters, but only 1 appears as a new main character, so there's not much difference in the storyline.
The storyline is following the end of the school wide competition as shown in the prequel. Only in this ...

I enjoyed the first series pretty well, but this was just fail. I had to force myself to finish it. It was incredibly redundant. Someone plays instrument for 5 seconds, someone else notices and they talk about the meaning behind their playing. That's pretty darn boring. I thought the new blond kid was lame as well as redundant and even bordering on creepy. His rival is stalkerish the way he is always there, even at a school that is not his own to badmouth him! It's over the top, and that's coming from a fan.

The first one was definitely better because it has more episode to elaborate on what was going on on all the characters' minds. But I enjoyed it nevertheless, I thought the story, art, music, and characters were still good. The only thing that I would again repeat from the review from the prima passo is there isn't a clear idea on who the main character wants to be with. I was hoping that this OVA could had shine a light on that, instead of putting new characters in and creating another situation.

I think it is enjoyable to watch, if you are a fan of ...

It is a good continuation of the 1st season.
The story continues after the intra-school musical competition of the first anime and game series. Music student Kahoko meets the rude boy Etō, the new young head of school board Akihiko Kira, and the mysterious transfer student Aoi Kaji.
With new characters, new problems.
But it's sad ...
How the main character is diverted to include a new character.
It would be okay if the story continued and grew as the new season continued.
But, where is the rest of the episodes? Only 2 episodes, they deserve better.
At least 10 episodes.
