Main characters of both anime are pulled into another, somwhat mirror universe, where whey become instrumental to save it.
Both have absolutely beautiful artwork. It's so fluid and brings tears to my eyes every time i see it (almost not trying to be dramatic or anything)

What struck me about Munto is how extremely similar it is to Noein. A young girl is sought out by people from another time and space because she has an important power that will save their world from destruction. The fact that the opening artists are the same is just an eery start, the characters, concept, mood, art style, animation, the setting, etc. all share lots of parallels with eachother. Obviously there are key differences between the two series, but it's definitely worth checking out the other if you enjoyed either of these series.
Both are about young girls sought by beings from other dimension, as they (the girls) are belived to have the power to save the other world. Both are also protected by powerfull being from the same dimension that tries to capture the main heroines.

it is somewhat similar because the characters kinda look alike, and at the beginning, it is kinda the same of how Munto asks Yumemi to come with him.

Both anime has a world that is on the brink of distraction and a normal girl from earth meets a prince/king from that other world.

Main character is asked to travel to a different world so it can be saved from a terrible fate.

Both have high quality animation, and large amounts of plot holes (especially with the adult characters.)
