SynopsisThe story follows Elk, a bounty hunter in some strange futuristic world. On this world archaic but advanced technology exists side by side with primitive attitudes, beasts and magic. In other words it's got a bit of everything. It also has an evil conspiracy who are able to produce powerful monsters called chimera, who can also appear as human. Naturally it is not long before Elk has rescued a young female beast-master and gained himself some serious enemies.

The anime based of the video game.
Now most of the time tv/movies based of video games suck. Example Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Doom, Final Fantasy. I'm sure there's more I just can't think of anymore right now. Now there are some good one's like the Fist Of The North Star movie made by HBO, and a few others, which I can't think or right now. Arc The Lad is one of the few good one's. It's now excellent or even great but it is good. The story is very good, which raises the rating to a 9, the animation is not very good the rating goes all the way down to a 5, the characters are good which my rating goes up to a 8, finally there is the music which was ok and my final rating is a 6. read more
