Synopsis

In this prequel movie to the Slayers televison series, Lina Inverse travels to Mipross Island with her rival/traveling companion Naga the Serpent. While they originally came for the hot springs, they soon find them selves mixed up in a conspiracy involving a mazoku named Joyrock. Years ago, he killed all of the elves that inhabited the island and absorbed their power. They are soon joined by an old mage named Rowdy Gabriev, who was in love with one of the elves slaughtered and also wants to defeat Joyrock.

What can I say. A big Budget version of Slayers?!? It has a horrible plot line. And all the things that I enjoyed being absent from Slayers! TV, are here! (sigh.. Fan service :( ).. and that Womans voice drives my insane.

My opinion: Don't watch it. I watched the first three TV series Back to back (again - thank you funimation) and was looking forward to seeing the movie. What a let down :(

About the only positive thing I have to say, is it is mercifully short, and the animation is significantly better than read more

Both hilarious, oversexualized-but-in-a-funny-way characters, rediculous, shameless, senseless...well, everything, and just overall fun. I would recommend these to anyone, they are fantastic.
