Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: The Second Spin-off of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. And this special proves so.

For example. we start out with the Atemu-like protagonist, Yusei Fudou, and the Kaiba personality/Raphael looking Jack Atlus. And they're dueling with their most valuble cards, Stardust Dragon and Red Demon's Dragon.

Honestly, I am a bit ticked off at the fact that the creators and writers would go a long way just to re-enact one of the past episodes. But the animation really does make up for that, believe me. Basically, watch the series before watching the special.

I enjoyed this special, actually. And the Booster effects and such. It's not exactly what I had expected, but it was fairly a good special.

Ride on this outstanding duel on wheels, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Evolving Duel! Stardust vs. Red Daemon's really is a show for those who already are Duels and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's maniacs. If you don't comply with these conditions then don't even bother watching it. It's just for the sake of the enjoyment, look the duel and enjoy the show.

As expected from a Super Jump AnimeTour, this Special doesn't have a story at all. They're just duelling and it's a fact, don't you try understanding the story, don't try understanding anything. The only thing this show does it create a amazing atmosphere and delight you with a unstoppable sequence of amazing moves, the duel is in some parts a little bit nonsense through.

The worst problem in this special is exactly the worst problem in 5D's duels, trap cards will decide the battle's outcome, oh well, I would say it's amazing, the bliss of a single move turning the game completely around, but it's sometimes nonsense, no matter how strong your monsters are or how stunning your chain is, but your opponent will always have a trap card to counter you.

The art is excellent, you can notice they worked very hard in making on making the dragons more realistic, the activation of the Buster Mode is also fricking awesome. Sound arrangement is also something to be pride of. This special is something you can show to every one of your friends without being ashamed, everything here is good, amazing.

So my final and only recommendation is: Don't try on understanding, just enjoy the show =) read more
