both have aliens, and they're both very funny and random!
Both are random, funny with great characters.
Both have aliens and both were being made by Sunrise~
Gintama and Keroro are both very random and very funny. They also share similar parody elements and break the fourth wall all the time. Both have a lot of interesting characters and are episodic for the most part. And of course, both are fun to watch :D

A lot of references of Keroro in Lucky Star.
They also use the real voices of the characters, and they appear as dolls and figurines in the serie.
The show is also humoristic, and sometimes it's as random as Keroro.
They come from the same distribution company, hence there are Keroro Gunso parodies throughout! It's very humerous and you will understand Lucky Star's parodies of it if you watch Keroro Gunso.

Both have nutty characters and hillarious antics.
Great for spontaneous humor!

For Gundam fans: If you've ever wanted a comedy anime that shamelessly panders to fans of Gundam, especially U.C. Gundam series, Keroro is the series for you. From Keroro cosplaying as Char to Keroro piloting a 1:1 scale RX-78-2 Gunpla in the third movie, there are plenty of amusing references to the franchise throughout the series.
For Keroro fans: If you've ever wondered why it is that Keroro is so obsessed with Gundam, viewing either the original Mobile Suit Gundam series or movie trilogy is a great way to find out. After all, what kind of Keroro fan doesn't know the difference between a Zaku and a GM?

Sgt. Frog's artist, Mine Yoshizaki, created the character designs for Seven of Seven.
there is various crossovers exist between Sgt. Frog and Nana 7 of 7.
Also, in episode 89 of Sgt. Frog, it features a plot that splits Corporal Giroro into seven personalities, most of whom resemble Nana's split personalities

They are both comedic and fun filled. Lots of stuff to make you crack up, on the other hand very random at the same time. Plus Bonta-kun and the frogs are very similiar!

Keroro Gunsou is similar to Pokemon because both involve creatures who fight others of the same kind... and sometimes not of the same kind. Most Pokemon fans I know are also Keroro Gunsou fans too. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes Pokemon.

I think viewers of Keroro Gunso would also enjoy Majin Tantei Nougami (if you're into mystery story-lines) because of the sarcasm and funny relationship between Neuro and Yako. As far as similarities go that is about it :)

Hare nochi Guu is funny and extremely random like Keroro Gunso is. If you like randomness in your animes, then check this series out too!

Both give random fun. It may not be as funny as Keroro but just as random.

Both have similar characters(Natsumi and Koyuki=Kaede and Shinobu). Also they are both hilarious comedies and contain many parodies. Though "2x2=Shinobuden" is a little(or a lot) more PG-13.
