This is similar in the way the characters are drawn. The main character, Hatsuki, looks and acts a lot like Kurusegawa Himeko. This is the same for Hatsumi and Himemiya Chikane. If you look at this anime you will find yourself thinking of Kannazuki no Miko because of the characters and just because of the way the story generally makes you feel. I suggest it because of the magic in it, the comedy and because if you liked Kannazuki no Miko and the relationship between Himeko and Chikane then you will like this anime.
Its not a garantee that if you liked yami to you'll like utena, but the series are similair. they both have a strong tomboy-ish heroine that tries to save her lover though she's secretly betraying her. they also share the girls love element, the sword fighting, the magical worlds, the funny/annoying little pet and a lot of bishie characters :)
both are based on H-games by Carnelian and have yuri in them
Both are non-linear and complex, with several stories and characters intricated in various places and ages. Both have immortal people, magic/alchemy, and comedy. Both anime are long 13 episodes (3 OAV of Baccano! excluded). Also, both Baccano! and Yamibou are set, always or in part, on a train.
Both stories about traveling to different worlds in order to find something. They both also have: a swordsman, a magician, and an annoying little creature. Though Yami to Boushi is more in the ecchi side.
There is lots of Yuri and it romantic.
both have girls travelling from place to place and have some yuri in them
