Candy Boy: Nonchalant Talk of the Certain Twin Sisters in Daily Life

Both are yuri based around sisters, and the struggles they face in their relationship due to problems between themselves or from the rest of the world. Candy Boy is 100% about the emotional story of the characters, and is a very cosy feeling slice of life about twins. Citrus on the other hand is more romantic and tense, a drama based around two girls who meet when they become step-sisters. Although Citrus involves a more sexual side as well, both anime are based in the emotional and romantic development of the two main characters. 

Both animes are ''yuri'' and have two sisters in a romantic story. Candy Boy is less dramatic and has a more soft romance than Citrus, so it can be a nice alternative for those who thought Citrus was too intense. Besides that, particularly I think the characters from the two animes are quite similar 

Sisters. Citrus and Candy Boy take the definition of a sister in an unorthodox manner and shift the meaning into something deeper to take in. Where Citrus has Mei, the (step)sister, ending up changing Yuzu for her life, due to some extremely unprecedented events. Candy Boy is a more optimistic sister relationship, one that is maybe a little too ideal. Whatever you believe, ideas such as Candy Boy and Citrus ended up deforming the word sister and remodelling it into something of an interesting piece of art. What we end up with is no normal girls' love tale, rather, a broken tale from Citrus's launching itself grappling onto the viewer with its sour content. In comparison to Candy Boy's sweet taste of optimism and idealism, made to render the viewer into a state of glee. Both are pretty good anime looking at them from reflex angles. With both having a score of <7.00, one could point out injustice. I simply tell those to not heed the score, but rather, make your own opinions when watching. read more 

well shojo ai, the girls doesn´t kiss each other, Kazama looks a lot like yuki in her face and both are blond, kanade and sumika has black hair and a tamboyish personality 

Another shoujo-ai anime from AIC. While the basic themes of both anime are different, they both share the common note of girls love and the art styles are incredibly similar. Also, fans of Candy Boy will want to watch for references to it in Sasameki Koto.  

After literally searching up the definition of incest, it becomes apparent to me that Aki Sora is literal incest compared to a more fluffy sibling love from Candy Boy. Plus one has sex over the over's wholesome atmosphere. The only thing you can really take from the two is the presentation to somehow create a tone which inflates its superficial qualities to madness, more true in Aki Sora since Candy Boy is exactly that style which is part of its substance anyway. Both also have some good OST. 

Both are very sweet, sad, romance yuri style animes that tug at the heart. If you are looking for a shorter story than i believe people may like Candy Boy.
